Fantastic shaves Patrick! Before I saw your post, I saw the Gillette Winner blades being used on IAM CDB's channel this morning. He said the blade was smooth an efficient. It was the first time that I ever heard of these blades.

Thanks, Danny! I don’t see them on the Colonial site anymore! They may be going on hold with the General model for a while. I’ll have to touch base with Kirk and Kyle.

 

Sounds great Clint. I have some older SK cast iron skillets that are slick as glass on the bottom. Newer cast iron is not as slick. There are videos out there of guys taking orbital sanders to new Lodge skillets to smooth them out and then they re-season them.

 

Great shave Blair! Glad things are looking great in your neck of the woods. Here on LI, it will be in the 40's next week. It will rain on Monday so most of the snow should be gone. I am glad because we need a little respite from the inclement weather we have had over the past few weeks.

 

I would think remounting those beautiful end caps on new scale material isn’t a big deal for Glen!
