Great shaves Jeff even though the Rex felt unhappy with you. Give it another go tomorrow :)

28 degrees in Alabama this morning but we are warming up to 63 degrees this afternoon. :happy005:

Great shave this morning. The Dscosmetics T4 beat the brakes off of the Imperial this morning. Good and thick and slick!

The Occam's V1 with the a Feather Professional Super took care of business. Three drama free passes.

A splash of Witch Hazel followed by some Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion. I feel and smell great.

Hope everyone has a great and safe day.

Great looking shave Jason. I hope you are having a good weekend.

Excellent 1912 shave Barry. I do love the sound they make during the shave.

Wow. First rate camping at home shave Dave. Love the photos. Good luck and hang in the there.

Excellent shave report and lineup Jeff. The Rex Ambassador on 6 is one of the most aggressive DE razors I have tried.

    Awesome Alabama shave Danny.

Removed the peeling clear from the Piccolo head this morning. To me it seems adding the clearcoat was a way to hide the many defects from manufacturing. There are tiny nicks or dents probably from dropping off an assembly line belt into a container of more heads . This is done in bolt manufacturing and is why the threads have small nicks . Another thing I noticed is where the posts are fused in is quite visible on the cap side . The gunmetal finish also has smears throughout which are nicely covered by the clearcoat. In my neck of the woods this is called putting lipstick on a pig. I'll use it this way and watch the patina develope over time . As it is now , keeping a shine is almost impossible but it's better that it sitting in a drawer. 20210221_104331.jpg

Awesome picture Jeff and I'm sure in a few days you will have the Rex dialed. Love the Dovo and congrats on 6 years of straight shaving. Take care.
