Sunday Schick shave, Feb 21st 2021- having a little experiment with my Schick M3 adjustable, I had a Kai Protouch in the blade bank with 8 shaves on it and decided to snip one end and shave with it. Slipped it in the injector magazine and had no problem installing it, well it had some life left in it and it worked beautifully for a DFS.

Razor: Schick adjustable injector Model 3(M3)- MFG 1970-72, well built razor, I always get good shaves with it.
Blade: Kai Protouch modified (9) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth, good blade to learn with a Shavette IMO & regular shaving.
Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch, mild scent with great lather properties. Nice post shave feel with this soap.
Brush: Razorock plissoft 24mm, have used this brush for the last 4 years with great results. Soft tips and nice scrub. Good painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(set at 4) + ATG (set at 5) + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG]great shave with my Schick adj M3 injector with a modified Protouch guarded blade.

Schick Grip injector, vintage Schick blade, shave 1

This time around a platinum plus vintage blade circa 1990. I was expecting a closer shave with this blade than the twin but as it turns out the shave is about identical with the twin blade doing a better job under the chin. BBS finish everywhere else on the face.

Thanks Matt. It is always a bit difficult when a scent just falls a little short of your preferences. I never want to offend anyone, either the artisan or others that may really enjoy it. It just comes down to personal taste sometimes. As for the Bandit, I only bought Dr. Jon's last offering and missed out on the previous releases. I enjoy it as well. I find Dr. Jon's offerings pretty well done and I really like the scents I've tried. Their soaps take a bit more effort for me to load, but the results are worth it. I just wish they would drop the metal containers and bring back 1803.

Razor: Gillette Executive Gold Adjustable Fat Boy (F1) 1960
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4)
Brush: DFS LE Nathan Clark Envy White Knot Handle Aluminum Color, Anodized Dark Bronze. #41/150.
    Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum
Aftershave: Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns
Bowl: Symmetrical Pottery Dark Blue Dottie

Really like this soap and aftershave. Even when lathering in a bowl the soap whips up in a hurry. The Envy White knot is by far the best knot I have in a shaving brush. I have another in a Tres Amigo Brush. They are both amazing.
Sorry for the not so interesting photo. I'm watching golf dreaming I was back in California.
