The Kai blade with the DE89 head really shaved well. Efficient yet smooth at the same time. The epic Catie's Bubbles cream might have been helping it out so I will have to give it more shaves with different software to know just how good the blade/razor combo is. I don't want to go back and edit the old post because people won't likely see it. I finally got a good enough lather out of the Ginger's Garden shave soap. Hot tap water in the scuttle really helps increase the density of the lather. This picture is AFTER I had used a single pass already. I fluffed up the remaining lather and took a pic:

I've been captured by the tones of your photo and the description. You found a tobacco soap that is not sweet and does not smell like vanilla! Incredible... I'd like to stay in that lodge, enjoing it, relaxing, reflecting!
2021-02-24, Wednesday Today a taste of what's to come: sun and heat. Luckily it's a break and that's it: it's going to get cold again, but more than the heat I'm bothered by the sun. Good thing it's for the vegetables in the garden, at least. I did not feel like pulling out the spring soaps, so I used one whose scent is similar to that of the air, but not the one in Milan! It reminds me the New Yorker traveling to Texas who was asked what he thought. -I don't know- he replied- I like to see what I breathe! I use very few sticks even though I use all hard soaps as such: it's strange to use such a small thing: it takes a long time to cover a big face like mine. It's a really good latherer though and I'm smooth and smelling great now.
