Is there a patent on the Vector design? I do see the similarities but a post through blade design has been around for years not just in the AC blades. The squared off threaded post is also used in other industries so it is not a new design. If you look across the board at razor and even brush design there is a lot of "borrowing". Look at a Bulldog handle. Just my rambling. Take care.

I will let you know. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I think Yaqi offering the aluminum handle is a great idea. I know it is not a high end stainless steel razor and it doesn't claim to be but I don't mind the Zamak head. I have several of those already and have never had any problems with them.

    Take care Dave.

    Excellent shave this morning gents.

The Razorock 400 whipped up some glorious P160 this morning. Three beautiful smooth passes with the open comb Hawk left me smooth. Finished with some Witch Hazel. I got busy and forgot the cologne this morning. O well.....I'll survive.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!

Nice combination Barry, super looking finish on that ER 1912.

Shane, at least the last two years....I think also adds a sale on his birthday (September according to old emails).

That's reassuring the interaction angle has been covered. Hoping there's another simple source of your headaches.

My father's new PCP (about 2 years now) changed some of his meds. His docs from Baton Rouge....she commented weren't up on 'the latest info'. She's an internal medicine specialist. Despite my father's near 100% carbohydrate diet, she's got his bloodwork as near perfect as can be for a man of 84, despite the metabolic issues his lifelong diet style created.

Thank you Blair..I give my razors & shaving brushes a clean every month to get rid of any nasties & to keep them looking good. My ER 1912's clean up wonderfully.

Love the green theme Pierpaolo. Super cool brush handle!

Those grey EVO handles were (are) hard to acquire, cool looks with that one, great image and setup! Hope the day goes smoother than expected.

    Fabulous day for the Fat.
    Flippin', fantastic shave.
Finished with the First-Class, fenomenally (sic), French fragrance:

One way to tell if you have the original formulation, is by the Dior address.
    30. Avenue Hoche. (Very
    difficult to find these days)
Dior would change their address to:
    33. Avenue Hoche---and you may still have the original formulation.
When they changed their label to read: "Dior", rather than "Christian Dior",
you have a reformulation of the juice.

I doubt there's a patent....was doing much the same, rambling about the looks/similarity. The Vector's head design is very narrow along the blades length, top cap design extremely thin. If there weren't a safety bar, it'd almost be the same size as the blade. I'll bet the post on the bottom design makes the blade loading a tad less finicky. With the Vector, I load the blade into the cap (upside down), then add the bottom plate, flip it over and screw down the handle. Have gotten it wrong once or twice when it's 5am and the caffeine intake was still brewing. Can't wait for your thoughts on the new haul!

Great image and combination Danny. Super shiny Hawk! What?!? No 'smell em good'? :sad024:I'll bet you have a spare of a favorite, and door pockets in your truck. Wifey called it 'my stash'......;) Have a great day!
