This post is for all my Canadian friends here...

My daughter had to create a “Canada ABC” booklet for her 6th grade social studies class. For every letter of the alphabet, she had to provide an interesting fact and visual aid (pic, drawing, etc) about Canada.

    Pretty cool, eh?

    Here’s the booklet:

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Tuckmarr 5/8” Maccassar scales
Brush: Brent Jacobson Tamarind and Ebony w/ Paragon 24mm boar
    Lather: Razorock X
    Aftershave: Razorock X (1508.5)
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Wonderful final shave with the RR X as it has met the fate of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Close, comfortable and efficient shave without any incidents. The alum report was remarkably silent. Once again, SWMBO commented on the quality of the smoothness. Always a positive development.

Given the sinking of this soap, CC0B5A11-D0E3-4E8D-B880-3A25394443E7.jpeg I will feature on Sunday the next 1508.5 project as I proceed towards my goal of den reduction and sinking a total of five full soap tubs this year. Of course there will be some sample to bite the dust along the way.

Finishing up another week in my march towards joining the MOLC. Tick, Tock; Tick Tock. This afternoon there will be another avatar change reflecting the continuing march. Have a great day gentlemen.

Congratulations Joe, I need to pick my next victim. Just not sure if it will be an official 1508.5 or just the next one focused on killing.

    Fat Friday !!
    Friday February 26, 2021
    Razor: G.E. Jones Shake Sharp
    Blade: Double Stacked Wizamets (4)
    Brush: Knothead Zebrawood
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: CHH Tobacco
    Fragrance: CK Euphoria Amber Gold

Fat Friday shave today and it was just splendid. Only frustrating thing was not what drives Joseph @Primotenore nuts (the puck spinning in the jar) Mine was sitting still as it stuck after the 1st shave, but I also hate the fact that it doesn't fill the jar to the sides all the way and when lathering off the puck, you get suds sitting in the crevices. I took care of the situation after asking the wife for the donation to the den of a grater. Next shave with it will be SO MUCH better ! 1st use of the Knothead Zebrawood/Maggards SHD from the BST. I was watching this handle in his storefront and wanted it but am so brush heavy right now I hesitated. I didn't know it sold recently and when I saw it pop up in the BST it had to be bought. Love not just the look of the handle but also the feel of the handle and the SHD knot. The Shake Sharp did it's typical amazingly smooth job. I feel good and smell better. Take care and be safe out there today !!

    Good morning guys!

    Razorock XX SS
    Stirling Piacenza AS

    Nivea ASB

I was called in to sub at the high school so I just did a typical hot water face lather. The RR is very easy to lather. This soap has a clean, but light scent so that I can use any aftershave with it. Two passes for a BBS - shave without incident. Did my normal postshave routine. Have a good day guys! 20210225_221911.jpg

Most excellent shave Dave. I had received a puck of MWF last month as a birthday gift from one of my daughters. I promptly introduced it to the grater and pressed it into a recycled Stirling tub. I have received wonderful lathers with it. Have a great day.
