Nice, two bins. I have one with the racks. Depending what I am cooking I may substitute using a large pot. As previously stated, SWMBO does not enjoy the texture of the food cooked in the Sous Vide. Therefore, I may put a steak in the Sous Vide for myself and finish briefly on the grill. Her steak gets the full grill treatment.

I am extremely grateful for all the fellow shave brothers I have meet the past year and a half here on the den. Danny @Hembree thoughtfully sent in a Gillette Slim and a Gem feather weight. But when I opened up the box he had surprised me with some other goodies I am very excited to try as seen in the photo here, can’t thank you enough. Danny you made my day here in the den. I’ve got 4 days of growth here so I’m off to trying these items out. I’ve always loved the scent of Irish Spring so this Palmolive brought back some good scent memories for me.

Inspired by Bill -who pulled out a R41 yesterday- to grab my stainless clone this morning. The shave gods were snickering today. Firstly, I had such as smooth first set down that I couldn't believe it. Yup, no blade. Classic. Loaded a fresh Astra green in. The second set down? I didn't give the razor the care it deserves apparently. A nice 1/8" cut on my cheek. Got out the Styptic Stick of Shame afterwards and it sort of contained it. Went old school after that and covered it with the 1/2" piece of toilet paper. I'd like to believe that it isn't noticeable now a few hours later, but lets just say no ships will crash themselves on my cheek today.
Anyway, after the inauspicious debut, I had 3 careful, successful passes. I am quite smooth, albeit with a little neck irritation. What's that old joke on here? 'Besides the blood it was a nice shave'...
