  8. Thanks Jeff! I try to take care of my straights, but it came in that condition. I bought it on Ebay I believe in the Spring of 2019. It was shave ready and purchased it for only 25 plus shipping. After a few months, it started getting a little rough and rehoned it July 2019. My C-Mon razors were even a better deal at 25 dollars a piece plus shipping and they are laser sharp compared to this Wosty at the outset. It's why I can justify purchasing custom razors because of purchases like these 3 vintage razors.
  9. Awesome shave Maestro! The Wostenholm pipe razor really does a great job when the edge is A+. Like I mentioned, it holds an edge like nobody's business. I don't believe they are the original scales, but I like the windmill design on it. It is a cool looking razor. I hope that you can get the edge where it shaves like a dream. It is simply amazing that these 100+ yr old razors can still shave a face very well. Have an awesome day my friend!

Dovo Solingen made in the '80 this 2683 model, called Red Bismarck.
It was the best of this nice shape, Bismarck No.2
I love the colors, and the rich 24K gold bath and spine work.
Specially in this limited edition red acrylic scales.

Today the new 26830 is very nice too, full black.
  11. The Franz Swati is highly valued in the wet shaving community. There aren't that many around and they work very well.
