Between the two teams we have had 8 pitcher changes in the last inning. Surely the teams are almost out of replacements. Got to love minor league ball.

I warn you though, there are some sections that are nsfw, but you shouldn't stumble into them blindly.

 

Just discovered Spider-man the animated series from the early 90's and X-men the animated series are now available for streaming.


Well, I know what my "animation domination" line-up is going to start looking like.

Add to this He-man and She-ra (for the missus) throw in some Avengers and some Futurama for irreverent humor, and you've got a Sunday Night line-up that can't be beat. Now, if they'd just add Batman Beyond to the mix...

 

I never could get into Spider-man. Comic, cartoon, or movies. No real reason, it just doesn't "click" for me.

I'll have to check out the X-men series. I vaguely remember watching a few episodes when it originally aired. I think it was just on at a bad time for me to watch.

I watched part of an episode of He-man about a year ago for the nostalgia. Couldn't make it to the end it was so bad. Totally hokey IMHO, and not in a so bad it's good way either.

 

I got to work and spilled coffee down the front of my shirt as I was getting out of my car. Too far to go home and I don't have an extra with me.

It's PSPT all over again.....

I love that series. The first season is some of the best t.v. I've seen. Second season goes downhill fast- avoid it if you can.

the "original" x-men series that aired on Fox showed on Saturday mornings. I was never up at that time. I caught a couple episodes somehow and I remember liking them. Too violent for my little ones, otherwise I would watch it with my son.

He-Man, Transformers, GI-Joe, none of them have aged well in my opinion.

Oh buddy. I was there with you, yesterday. Felt so bad I opted to sleep on the couch instead of grilling out.

yup... and I don't want to risk the ban hammer, so I aint saying nothing other than ..................

 

man, something major must have been going on, facebook and twitter are all abuzz about something, I honestly have no idea what's going on, I've seen some unfamiliar names listed, and talks about process, etc...

And so, having laid the groundwork that I have no idea what ya'll are talking about (yet), I feel I can still say with full confidence what I've always said: we've left our "Justice" system long ago in favor of a "legal" system...and not in a good way

 

Today was one of those days. I was busy all day long. A small little bird got in our hallway from outside. It was Finch sized, but I'm not sure what it was. Anyway, I spent near half an hour of time I didn't have to get the little birdie outside safely. I finally did and not more then 30 seconds after he got out side, he landed in the road and and was run over by a car.

Oof.

I had it explained to me, and I still don't know a thing about it. I guess I'm not the only one who's been living under a rock for the past few years.

Poor little guy/gal. I've grown quite attached to my birds since I started hanging a feeder just outside my window.


In other news-- all the Dr. Who talk around here has encouraged me to pick up where PBS left off and start watching season 2. I always thought PBS was doing something wacky with the audio because I could never hear the dialog and the music was eardrumbustingly loud. Apparently, the problems are in the original mix. It's almost enough of a problem to drive me away from the series.

 

All of this Dr. Who talk makes me think I ought to start watching it so that I know what is ever mentioned anymore. However, I get overwhelmed when faced with 192 seasons and 245 Dr. Who's. I have enough issues getting through Red Dwarf.
