  3. Thanks Tim. Back at you. I'm just catching up today and saw you had broke out the full set of Kiritimati a few days ago. What a great scent. Enjoy the weekend my friend.

  7. Kiritimati is definitely a great scent. It was marketed as a "Christmas" scent but it's so much more than that. I am going to use it year-round here and there when I have the mood for it.
  8. Here's the plan for Sunday(last day of the month):

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(Max.Hydration)in shower
    shave-Jeeves of Hudson St.soap(Bay Rum)
    brush-Jayaruh#59
razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot + DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Stephan Bay Rum(for Face&Body, Fragrant Skin Toner)

  10. It great to see a Rolls out. I have one but I need to work on oiling the leather strop and such. I have been thinking about trying to use it soon. My wife gave it as a gift to me before I started with straights and I think I was a bit more intimidated to try it at that time then I am today. Have you done anything to maintain yours? Did you hone the blade outside the unit at first or have you always just used it with the provided strop and stone?

  13. Joseph, I saw your post about that, and didn't know how to reply.....I'll just "keep it around"(lovely looking razor, and being my birthyear and all), but the majority of my shaves will be with the OTHER Gillette.
  14. In the end, Paul, it's your decision, but I have been following your shaves for almost 7 years. You will be much happier sticking with the Sensor and varying your shaves with some exciting new soaps and aftershaves.
  15. Thanks Primo.... :eatdrink047:

  16. I think you're right, Joseph. But about the "exciting new soaps&aftershaves", that will happen next year, of course. :).
