Man, its been a great weekend. Got to see some family yesterday that we don't get to see nearly often enough. Has seemed like a nice long weekend and there's no complaint there!
Great day at church today, did a little work, made a run to Home Depot and on the way home my '01 Accord rolled over 300k!

I hate that... or when windows fails to shut windows shut down... Or cant restart because windows restart is open. Oh the joys of windows :D

I wish they would move to a more reliable system.... Like lynix. I forget the wording but linux does moving files while windows moves packets... or vice versa... Or just being crazy (it never happens i swear) :happy102

It is just a Nokia C6. They have their own app store. But I don't want to pay for them so might do some searching for free games and apps tonight. You guys know of any sites that would have those?

It isn't the best phone... but only had to pay 12 bucks for it (Had Fido credits). It was a huge step up from my LG Neon 2. Which was a piece of p00p :D. When i got my LG Neon I didn't know much or do much research and when i got it they gave me a $75 gift card for Best Buy. Should have taken that as a hint of how bad it was. I am just figuring out some stuff and getting the settings how I like it. I just need to set it now to not vibrate when I slide it open...

Thanks, Justin! We were driving home from church and I noticed that I would roll over 300k a little later. Glad its made it that far. Every month without a car payment is a little more cash to feed the AD's! :D

Just finished up my first month at the gym. Feeling stronger. Cardio vastly improved. Blood Pressure is down 20 points. Have only dropped a couple pounds, but did take about 2" off the waist.

    Feeling good...

Excellent! I miss the day's without a car payment. We currently have 2. I think I am down to a year on my car's payments.

Excellent! Inspiring even! You still won't get me into one of those places. I just need to watch what I eat and stop eating whenever daughter gets me upset. Of course, it would help if I went back to walking 4 miles a day instead of the 1 I am currently doing.

I've started P90X. Good gosh, man. I didn't even know there were supposed to be muscles there...

Anyway, headed to the doc for a check up. We'll see if my efforts at diet and exercise (not to mention less stress) have impacted the bp and chol levels.

Good work on all the working out guys! You may not know, but over the last ~5 years I'm down about 40 lbs. I'd like to get off another 10, but that's a minor issue as my BP is now healthy. Thankfully I started loosing weight before any other symptoms started, but don't think it would have taken long.

Congrats guys. I have lost 20 pounds but gotten taller... since my heavier days.

Now I still could loose maybe 10-20 but I am a big built guy. Large chest, broad shoulders, I am a Canadian lumberjack I guess :happy102. Me and my GF were talking about it as I am active, bike to work and home, bike for grocery shopping unless large items... and she said that if i lost more than 20 pounds i would be a big stick man... haha Right now I am 6'3 and 220-230. So i am not a very large guy just big :D.

    ANYWAYS

This-morning was great, first use of my niviea splash that i added some more glycerin to. Great additive very happy that i added it.

Alright, thanks to a rousing evening of blasting alien scum in Halo (Reach?) at Doug's house, I'm left pondering the PS2 alternatives. Any gamers in the house? How can I get my first-person shooter on with my PS2? I'm thinking maybe Killzone, Timesplitters, or one of the Medal of Honor games. Any suggestions? My biggest criteria is going to be which one can I get for the cheapest at the local GameXchange.

I would say go over and pick up a bunch of games in the 5 dollar bin. If you have a decent computer i would recomend getting steam and buying them over there... their summer sale just ended had 75% - 33% all of their popular games. As well as franchise sales.

I would say the Medal of Honors were always my favorites, then the Call of Dutys. There are many great games out there. I know the new Killzone is pretty pretty :D

Good luck. P90x is a killer. I tried the Yoga and Plyo disc for a while and it kicked the crap out of me. I think I could only get through about 25 minutes before I called it quits. When I need a change in routine, I am going to give it a shot again. Also good luck with the doctor results.

Awesome job Erik. Before I quit smoking I was steady at roughly 205 lbs. Once I quit, I ballooned to near 280 in about a year and a half. I am now at 252, but in much better shape then I have been. I didn't put this weight on in a month and it won't come off in a month. It's a process that takes some time. Congrats on keeping it off for 5 years. I was concerned about my bp before I started exercising as it was way too high. It is still a bit high, but is down considerably and headed in the right direction.

I was looking at the recommended body weights and it said i should be about 185 lbs. If I cut off a leg I might get there, but I have that thick build and am will be ecstatic if I can lose 40 more and get down to about 210. I have no desire to be stick thin.

ps2 has some FPS titles, but the xbox controller works better and the system is better designed for FPS play. My favorite for the xbox is Doom 3 because the edition I bought came bundled with the original Doom and Doom 2.

That said, Deus Ex is an excellent FPS for the PS2. You also might see if you can find Half Life for ps2. I've only played in on PC but I seem to recall the ps2 version got good reviews.
