Nice Shave Joseph. Sorry that frag was a pass. Sounds like they missed what they were shooting for.
Great picture and shave Jim. Dart was too much Hyde for me.

Is tobacco the main ingredient in Malbolge?

Awesome shave Joseph! Personally, I would be suspcious of an aftershave if the bottle looks like a lipstick holder.

    Thanks, Dave!

Sometime ago I was interested in trying an R41 to see if I could tame it. Andrew @Linuxguile did a side by side comparison of the '13 R41 and the Dart. He said the R41 was a pussycat compared to the Dart. The interest has since subsided. Still got a bit of an itch to try an '11 R41 though.

Prayers, Andrew, for you and your family. God is faithful, and He will bring you through this season of life.

Stop by when you can. I'll do my best to keep a lid on things 'round here. :)

I'm guessing that you meant to ask me? Here are the scent notes :

Malbolge is a dark spicy blend including notes of tobacco, citrus, anise, musk, patchouli, sugar and black pepper.

Wonderful scent and a favorite in my collection.
    Thanks, Joe!

Paul, you mixed up the comments. Jim is the one who used the Malbolge and you incorrectly replied to my comment on Joe Carbone's shave. I would say that would be a double-glitch on your part my friend.

Great Masamune shave and photo, Clint! I’ll be joining you tomorrow in your AS-D2 shave tomorrow!

    @Edison Carter
Great Dovo shave, Joe! If you find yourself involuntarily frowning repeatedly after your shave, it's clearly the convex hone’s fault! :happy097:

    Palmolive Shave Stick
    Thayers
    Dior Eau Sauvage AS
aodfger.jpg Continued with the LC for another day, but did put in a new Wizamet after seeing @Dave in KY pull out this great blade. This is my last tuck of 10, but I'm not really worried about it as I have quite a few Polsilvers left and even the markings are the same on the blades. Pulled out the Palmolive stick as part of my 'oldest soaps I've got' focus. This one came from winnings in the first Shavey Awards in the summer of '17. It resides in the dopp bag> no travel equals no usage, hence it has probably been a year. Far too long. There is just a nub of the stick left (I have multiple back ups, worry not denizens) and it needs to be taken to the bowl after another shave or two. Anyway, what a great lather. It just works for me. Most folks seem to have that one budget item that just punches way above its weight class for them and for me this is it.
3 passes later and just a tiny, tiny strip of fine grit sandpaper on my right side jawline has me short of perfection. I love this razor and @MrEE did a wonderful job of putting a new tuxedo on it (and today's brush as well, for that matter). Finished with the Eau Sauvage after being inspired by the conversation around it yesterday. Awesome sauce.
    Have a great day all!

Good morning, Terry. I always enjoy reading your posts.

I'm sorry that COVID has affected your family so much. Prayers especially for your Bride. I hope she recovers fully and comes home soon.

Because of my Bride, we have to be extra careful. (It is getting old, but there are worse things. :)) We're doing well, although we have several friends who've had the virus.

    Take care, my friend.

I don’t know about the Dart but the 13 R41 is not nearly the most aggressive razor I’ve tried. If you want to take one for a test drive let me know and I’ll send you mine for a test drive.

Those complaints date back to the razor’s origin. They certainly aren’t current. I have no issues with mine either. Rumor is that the MMOC’s initial popularity led some competitors to offer up those complaints. If you check your razor’s baseplate you’ll notice there are no lather channels. :)
