Excellent R41 2011 shave. I have not experienced the 2011 version as mine is a later model.

    That’s really cool Jason & @Edison Carter!

Personally I’ve thought about losing the sticker on the Chubby 2 synthetic I have. Plan on keeping forever, so resale value is :prrr:.

My brain starts hurting when I wonder why they have half the labeling etched, and half being a cheesy (IMO) sticker that’s actually their name brand. If they really wanted it to be special, there’s plenty reasonable & affordable techniques available the last 15 years to get the same results directly without a frickin’ sticker.

I’m betting it’s near perfect. In your image, the brush has rolled….maybe a 1/3 or a 1/2 degree to the right (my self induced product photography perfectionism ocd).

Regarding that area, I've been able to establish a semi-regular (although still fluid) routine here at the house. I've been able to adapt and get most things settled down to manageable levels, mercifully, although my mental and physical limits have genuinely been pushed to the max levels. Since these current state of affairs began (Jan 28th), as an unintended consequence, I've lost 20 pounds so far.
I am still enjoying my peaceful shaves each morning before the daily tasks begin. Unfortunately, I still don't have the energy/motivation for daily shave reports. When time and energy permit, I do enjoy reading everyone's posts here on the 30DC thread and adding the occasional comment. Honestly, the only other thread on TSD that I even read/post is the BMS 2021 thread, as I make mention of my retail therapy developments.

A great pic and an informative post, Bill. Are you going to search for one now?

I’m not likely to pursue getting one of these. Great, great shavers when you have your ‘game on’. And you gotta be on point.

Probably the least tolerant razor of sloppiness I’ve ever used including open edge tools.

I can see why Muhle mellowed it out in 2013. And, I can certainly see why folks love and seek the 2011 out.

    Prayers for your health bro.

I have, and am currently working in the manufacturing end of the label business.

The snobs really hate when somebody calls them “stickers”, so I do it all the time just to get the “they are pressure sensitive labels” speil.
