    The Yaqi AC style single edge made it today but I don't think I'll shave with it yet.

    I really like the razor. The finish is nice but there is a problem with the top cap.

    The center post is not parallel to the edge making blade exposure way off.

    The base plate alignment looks great.

    I contacted Yaqi and I'm sure they will take care of it. I sure was wanting to give it a go this weekend.

    Very nice shave Jason. I remember using English Leather in my younger teen years. I have not used it since. I do not know what to make of that.

    Yes I was. There is "tang" on each side of the post that I may be able grind off just enough to allow for the slots in the base plate to align the blade. The only problem is it comprises the chrome and Zamac in the top plate but the top plate is not going to work as is. Hopefully I'll hear back from Yaqi this afternoon. I hope it is limited to this one and not across their production run.
