    Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend....After the uncertainty of losing my job there has been a glimmer of hope after our union had another meeting the outcome was that our management have been told that they still have adequate funding for our plant, despite it's main lender going into administration. those that are furloughed return to work in April on a 3 day week rota for 4-5 weeks due to covid-19 working rules and because the weakness in the market....we have been guaranteed work until the end of the year, after that it's uncertain...Not the best outcome by a long shot but at least i have something until i can get something with more stability and when it comes along I'll bite the bullet and go for it! regardless of my employer..

Carrying on using the Silver Star SS, another blade from the lord camp...A excellent razor/blade combo feeling very smooth & assertive...The P&B Citra Royale soap i haven't used for a while it provided me with a excellent slick protective lather with a really nice fragrance throughout each pass leaving a wonderful post shave feeling to my face...A very enjoyable 3 pass + pickups close comfortable /near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off a with a generous splash of Brut ~ Sport Style ASL.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

So yesterday ended up longer than expected as it was not his follow up to the surgery which is NEXT Friday (can't keep the appointments straight) This was with a new Doc in Neurology for is Myasthenia gravis and going over his files to get caught up and tests to figure a new plan for dealing with why it's flaring up again took awhile. Thankfully this guy seems on the ball and cares about helping people. Nice Doctor. I can always tell if they are there to pump people thru and collect a check or want to get to the root of things and help improve quality of life. Got home 6ish and got caught up with what the day brought here with the wife (She has her health issues also which I won't elaborate on) and then got the call from the Out-Laws (Term of affection [IMG]) My mother-in-law who has dementia (and why we moved here to be close to help) was wanting to kick her husband out of the house again. She thinks he's some guy that just moved in and wants her Richard back. I seem to be the only one that can get her calmed down and joking again enough to let her husband stay. What a roller coaster he lives with as well as her. Episodes keep getting closer together. So after getting home at 10ish I relaxed with a little Wild Turkey and went off to bed. Fun Times in KY [IMG] Truth is, none of us really know what anyone else is dealing with. My heart bleeds and I shed a tear or two when I think of all Andrew and Blair have and are dealing with. Stay strong guys and all others battling what life can throw at you.

Let's have a shave report. I had this set out for Friday until Danny suggested yesterdays Razor and Soap. The shave from yesterday just didn't last as it's such a mild razor or as Danny called it a pussycat. It was a joy to get the Spiral Slant out again and get things glass like smooth that I know will last until this evening. The soap is good but I don't get all the hype I read about before getting a Eufros. Again it is a GREAT soap but I am SO past the which is the BEST soap out there. We are so blessed with so many quality made artisan soaps that it is really splitting hairs to try and say who's best. I just enjoy the great soaps we can choose from and relish in the variety. Topped with John Varvatos and am going to sip some coffee and have a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffin before I need to tackle today. Life is Good as Tim would say. I love throwing some names in here to make it more personal but since I copy and paste this on a couple forums, I also get a chuckle as some may read and wonder........... WHO ?!?!?! I hope EVERYONE has a great day and Weekend !!!

Fine shave this morning. I got a good amount of the Barbasol on, realizing I'd be doing with my hands the work a brush normally does-extra spreading. I was rewarded for that effort by the shave itself. All areas(except for the ingrown hairs at NW Cactus Nation)were done smoothly-no cuts or Knicks. One pass. This was my first go with the Yardley A.S. I found it to go on kind of cool at the beginning, but it warms up a short time later. Nothing fancy about this, just a nice, pleasant aftershave. Will be interesting to compare this with the Yardley Black Label A.S. later on. Outta This World Excellent(a nice grade for using the distinguished goo that is Barbasol.) .

Brush: Shore Shave Blue Nebula w/ Paragon 25 mm Boar
    Lather: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    Aftershave: Stirling Pharaoh Dreamsicle
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

What a difference a day makes. Approximately a 20 degree difference from Friday morning. Of course, as luck would have it, I am waiting in the chill on line for my son’s COVID test.

Today is another meet up with the LI Chapter of the 30DC with Joe, @Trigger, for lunch at 1:00. Let the high jinx continue.

This morning’s shave featured the Fat and the W&B Bow. Three pass shave took care of business, comfortable and smooth throughout. The alum was predominately silent. I am smelling good. I thoroughly enjoy the citrus scent presented by Stirling’s Pharaoh Dreamsicle.
Hopefully Anthony’s PCR test will be uneventful. He is a little anxious as he is aware that it is a more invasive test that the Rapid test he had in January.
    Have a great day gentlemen.
