Thanks Jeff! The first batch that was contracted with the US machine shop and he found that they had farmed it out to China and so the engraving that said Made in USA bothered his him and he did not want to pull one over on people. So they were scrapped although he may scratch off the Made in USA and offer them at some point in the future I don't know. These were another machine shop in the US that he was able to follow through and get them done at and so they are legitimate! With all the headaches he had he said he probably will never produce any more unless he gets his own equipment to machine them himself. These may be the only ones that are ever made !!

(same razor and brand/model blade, but I switch to a different brush.)

Razor: '47 Gillette Aristocrat
Blade: Astra SS (3)
Brush: MrEE LE #000 w/ Maggard SHD Fan
SS & AS: Stirling Mountain Man

Rinse and repeat shave again this morning. It's getting so automatic I worry about when the 30 days end and I shave with a more efficient/aggressive razor. I'll have to change things with care. No drama at all. Finished with a wonderful, near BBS finish after 2+ passes. The Mountain Man isn't my favorite scent, but it's a pleasant change when I'm just planning to be around my wife and kids all day.

 

Well, only partially. Yes, the Congrats for the new razor was real and deserved. The jabs at the NB21'ers were also real and deserved...

 

No kamisori option. Bummer.

 

That is some "quote", I'll tell you that right now(oh, I just DID tell you that)

 

Oh ok..thanks....I was just thinking, it'll be nice to get the handles, but the knot may have to wait until next year, to preserve my NB status. I can get by on my current brushes until then.
