Thanks Danny! It takes practice and knowing how to shave the trouble spots! It was more difficult filming a headshave than a faceshave because I had to focus on the camera and the razor to get a better view for you guys. Anyway, I will do one with a regular straight, now that I have the camera angle, placement markers and such sometime in the next few months.

Great job and I'm still amazed at head shaving with a straight. Take care.

Koraat Splash 7/8 half hollow for the shave today. I do enjoy the Cologne Russe from B&M, well I enjoy the scent but it is finicky in my water. Something for the watch fans in the picture but for the frag heads the Serge Lutens Musc Koublaï Khän did not make the picture but it sure let everyone around me know.

SOTD TUESDAY MORNING, MARCH 16, 2021

Thanks to a friend here at TSD, I was able to secure a F. Herder 49 15/16. It is one big honkin’ blade. The weight and heft feels very good in hand, and the bone scales are in good shape. This straight razor will definitely be a keeper. Given the size of the blade, it will take some getting used to. The mug shave was my usual three passer. The shave was smooth and clean, but just a touch too harsh for my liking. I’ll refinish it on the Naniwa 12k and jasper stones today until I get the edge the way I like it. The dome shave featured my little reliable Ronson safety razor which easily held up its end. Two ATG passes put the baby to bed and left me clean, refreshed and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: F. Herder 49 15/16 (Mug), Ronson Safety Razor (Dome)
    BLADE: Schick B-20 Proline Injector
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 Tribute with 24mm Hybrid Knot Ferrule
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence Bergamot & Thyme AS Balm.

    Razor: Lupo .95
    Blade: Wizamet (2)
    Brush: Sorrentino Orange Crush/Cashmere
Soap: Sir Henry's Black Tie Affair
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: Terre D'Hermes Splash
    Fragrance: Terre D'Hermes Edt

Today I had a lovely lather from Sir Henry's with a nice scent that has good strength you can enjoy. It pairs well with Terre D'Hermes and the Lupo did it's job in removing the stubble. Not much sleep last night but the coffee is hot and not a lot to do today...........yet. Have a great day Folks !!
