The practice run of the MOLC marches on. It will conclude tomorrow with a short lived turn to reality on Friday. That being said, it is a short return before a week of for the Easter/Passover bring beginning next Saturday.
Looking at the picture of this morning’s shave, I realized that I set up a Stirling software shave. Unintentional of course, however, fantastic nonetheless.
Once again the usual three pass shave delivered great results. Smooth and comfortable easy passes without an incidents. A silent alum confirmed what I had expected upon completion of the shave. I decided to use the TdH dupe, Arkadia to finish off the shave. I am smelling good and ready for the Yutes in the virtual classroom.

As a side note, during the past few weekends I have ventured into the head-shaving realm. During the work week I have been buzzing my head with the barber shears every third day. In our meet up this past Saturday, Joe, @Trigger and I, discussed many topics shave and non shave related including head shaving. I had mentioned that my head shave that morning included try the straight razor on a small portion of the dome. Later during the weekend I did get the opportunity to check out our chemistry professor’s video of his head shave with a shavette. This morning, feeling ambitious and adventurous, I completed a full head shave with the JR Torrey without an trouble. No weeps, no drips, no errors.

Happy Hump Day everyone. This week is going by very quickly. I will say it has been a stressful work week for me thus far. Unfortunately, I don't see that changing until I get caught up from all my down time. I went with SV Desert Vetiver this morning. I have not used SV soaps recently so I am glad I pulled one out. The MrEE LE is a joy to use for face lathering. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. A splash of Fine Green Vetiver and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

 

I heard a saying years back:
“Get your but out of the way, although sometimes two t’s are applicable.”

I say this all the time in my classes when one of the Yutes keeps formulating an excuse. Of course the student look like me like I am a weirdo. Naturally, I have to explain the phrases since it is not in a text or a video game. The sad state of some of the Yutes of America.

Thank you Joe. If I work this weekend, I should just about be caught up. The work load will start to drop after the 4/15/21 tax deadline. It eases up until all the returns that were extended become due in September and October.

The T3 produced excellent lather this morning. I don't think I could have ask for better.

The Above the Ties were feeling neglected so I decided to show them a little love this morning and put this combo together. Excellent drama free three passer with just a hint of alum. This is probably one of my best ATT shaves.

A little witch hazel and a few squirts of American Tobacco by Andy Hilfiger and I'm ready for today.

March Focus

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I, unfortunately realized this after I was finished with my shave, otherwise I would have made different choices.
Luckily, the choices I made were great and while there's no green to be seen
a fine shave was had by yours truly.
The AoS Lavender has been neglected as of late and was due for an appearance.
The CH3 rocked it and was filled to the rim---no, not with Brim, but with luscious, lavender lather.

The Barbasol was paired up with the Russian Sharp Star, making its second showing.
The angle is easy to find and allows for riding the safety bar.
Success was had with the ATG neck pass, so a BBS shave was recorded.
Leather, leather and more leather is the theme of today's FOTD®
