Interesting head on your razor, very rare one, no doubt easy to load a blade.

Razor: Gillette reg Flare SS tip B2- Mfg 1956 2qtr, mild razor, very carefree shave with a reg blade, good results with a Kai blade.
Blade: Kai SS (9) excellent blade, wider than a standard Gillette blade by .009" thousands of inch, Sharp & smooth, with great longevity. Great blade in milder razors or a person who just wants a boost in efficentcy and aggression.
Soap: Speick- nice mild spicy mild scent with excellent lather qualities for protection. Good post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi Red zebra handle 26mm, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG]Excellent shave with my reg Flare tip with a Kai SS blade.

    Summer sun and 3° C!
What soap would I feel suitable for this weather condition?

I thought I'd indulge in the notes of the starandstriped Fern soap.
I know I'm going to draw criticism from a large number of my colleagues, but... I'm not crazy about B&M: I use many soaps that I like much better.
    And the scents...
This Fern scent reminds me of freshly cleaned bathrooms in a mid class hotel.

And really, with all the unsatisfiable cravings I have, it's relaxing to have something I'm not interested in!

The MR8's V1 head, now unobtainable, is excellent.
Brad says the current V3 is milder although several users argue against that.
I found one: I will try it...

I did not use EdT: the soap had dulled my olfactory buds!

So, an ok shave. These blades are some that i got from local drug store a couple years back. And i keep forgetting that they are not that impressive. The soap is new to me, its one of the many soap samples im trying to get through. Alot of soap in the small container and its soft. The scent to me doesnt smell like the description. It sort of smells like irish spring, but softer and not in your face. Lather is ok, little thin but not foamy. A little slickness but not like some others. An ok soap. But then again it could be me. I find lathering with badgers and boars waaay different than synthetics. Synthetics just lather better for me.
