In Saskatoon we just had 5 or 6 days of Minus 40 degrees temps. In the middle of that one night the wife and I decided to go to Dairy Queen for ice cream. Your Monday morning "Chill Out" shave reminds me of that!
Rod’s awesome new Glacial Electric Sheep! The latest Glacial scent from Stirling and the first one with a mutton tallow base! Ease of lathering: 10/10–Like all Stirling soaps this one gives rich, super slick, protective lather so fast and easily! Longevity of lather: 10/10–Super stable. Holds up for multi pass shaves so well. General skincare: 10/10–Oh my Lord is this one ever soothing. A MONSTROUS menthol sensation just like all the other Glacials as well as great moisturizing. Scent: 10/10–I love it. Just like the regular version of Electric Sheep it’s a blend of citronella, lemon, and eucalyptus. Beautiful! Price: 10/10–13.60$ USD. Great value! Would I buy again: 10/10–How couldn’t I? I love mentholated soaps and I love Stirling! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Friday morning’s Grand Freeze: Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra Green day 5 Stirling Glacial Spearmint SS Stirling Glacial Spearmint ASB Fine Snake Bite AS Splash Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick Bleu de Chanel EdP My face might need all day to thaw out from this intense menthol bombardment. The pre shave soap has a good cooling sensation, it’s pretty much unscented, it does such a great job of cleaning the skin, and it softens up the stubble so well. The Glacial Spearmint soap’s beautiful scent fills the bathroom, its lather works up perfectly, the menthol sensation is so potent that it feels almost painful but the skincare is brilliant. The matching balm has the same wonderful scent with awesome moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Snake Bite aftershave is killer cold. Three passes gave me an easy peasy super duper BBS shave! Have a great weekend - stay healthy and safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did anyone else pick up one of the new Stainless razors? I went the with ST after trying both in a pass around.
Wednesday morning’s Grand Freeze: Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Schick day 3 Stirling Glacial Electric Sheep SS Prep ASB Master Splash Creations Frosted Spearmint AS Splash Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick Bleu de Chanel EdP Definitely the coldest shave I’ve had so far this week - the Glacial Electric Sheep soap is a menthol atom bomb with almost exactly the same beautiful scent as the original version. This Glacial version has perhaps a bit more of a lemony note to the scent but otherwise it’s pretty much the same. I had tremendous lather that was so rich, mega slick, along with a monstrous menthol sensation, and the mutton tallow formula promotes such wonderful skincare. The Prep’s moisturizing, cooling and soothing felt so good, not to mention how frigid the Frosted Spearmint aftershave felt. A good looking beast like me needs a beautiful fragrance so the Bleu de Chanel was the perfect answer. I’m really enjoying this Schick blade - it helped to get me absolutely BBS! Be well and safe - have a great day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Menthol Monday: Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Schick day 8 Stirling Glacial Black Cherry SS Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB B&M Arctique AS Splash Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick Bleu de Chanel EdP What a Grand Freeze this was - from start to finish. The mentholated pre shave soap put the wheels in motion, the Glacial Black Cherry soap delivered such a beautiful scent along with tons of rich, slick, frigid lather that gave me perfect blade glide as well as gentle, soothing skincare. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Arctique aftershave prolonged the freeze wonderfully. Not even a professional barber could have shaved me better than this! Have a great week - be well and safe! You are correct. It is just the coffee and vanilla notes in the scent oxidizing. As the interior is exposed to air, it will do the same thing. We've got quite a few scents that do that, most notably the Haverford.

Thanks so much for your response! It's funny how timely your response is, as I JUST finished a shave with Iced Coffee prior to reading it! The scent is quickly becoming a new favourite of mine, and I'm so glad that I grabbed a tub of it this year. Thanks for making a great product, and for taking the time to interact with us all. God bless, GCC
Long time Stirling fan here! I'm curious if there was ever a change to sharp dressed man aftershave formula? I still have some of my original sdm aftershave from around 5-6 years ago, but I also have a newer bottle as well. My nose can definitely tell the older bottle is more pronounced and I think smells better then the new one. Almost makes me not want to use it in fear of losing it for good...lol...Is that in part because it's aged? Lol? Also just used the remnants of my sdm soap from 5-6 years ago and man does it ever still whip up that thick and slick Stirling lather! Still holds that great scent as well. What a great early Spring shave with one of my favorites from Stirling! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
I’ve maybe noticed this phenomenon a little, BUT have also found that my nose varies a lot more day to day than any batch variations from Stirling. I give every AS a vigorous shake before using just in case there’s any settling or separation that occurs between uses.............especially because I have too many scents. My pseudo scientific theory is that I’ll have a consistent scent for an entire bottle. I’ve read Rod’s mentioning having assistant sniffers because his nose has burned out for certain scents. My guess is that’s where some six year discrepancy comes from.
Glacial Electric Sheep soap followed by Glacial Unscented balm and a killer cold aftershave splash from South Africa called Frosted Spearmint from Master Splash Creations. This shave was so BBS and it felt like Siberia in midwinter! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm using the Stoylin Spice currently(SS&AS). People here have said(and this includes me) that Doc Ezlovan's version hits quite close to the Shulton Old Spice. But I can't compare it to P&G's "New Spice"(as I call it), since I haven't used New Spice.
