    I'm going to guess it's the start of a homemade helicopter. The original builder gave up on it when he realized how much extension cord he was going to need.

    A lot of gear reduction going on.

    Good one Jim. :D

    It is actually a horse walker. It is used to exercise horses. Three speed Ford transmission and a Ford eight inch rear end. It was gave to my son but it it missing the arms so another future project but we will get there.
