Sunday Schick shave- March 21st 2021 Razor: Schick J1 type injector-MFG 1957-64, milder mid range, easy to move around the face, easy under the nose to shave. Blade: Personna SS PTFE blade(3) excellent blade, very sharp, good longevity & smooths out nicely. Soap: Razorock "The Dead Sea" ,nice scent, excellent lather qualities. Price per once is good when bought on sale. Brush: Yaqi Artic sky 24mm- excellent brush for generating lather in any type of soap, heavenly cloud like soft tips, good back bone for a scrub and great lather painter. It looks like a floppy type of brush but it has real good back bone, excellent made brush IMO. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Razorock The dead sea with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weeper = Excellent shave with my Schick injector J1 type with a Personna blade. Mon 22nd March RR400.SE-Plissoft noir Arko Stick-grated Gem Junior 1912 Gem S/S [ 2 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion Rather surprised by todays Shave, though only Two days growth the Razor was quite harsh and the Shave quite unpleasant. The quality of finish not what I would have expected from this Razor with a relatively fresh brush.

Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (9) very sharp, good longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable. Soap: Razorock The Dead Sea croap, nice scent, excellent lather qualities. good post shave feel. Brush: Yaqi Chianti's 24mm knot, excellent lather creator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + good lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: 9/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Gem Jr bar with a coated Gem blade. Tue 23rd March Stirling Syn.26mm P & B Pall Mall Gem Junior 1912 Gem S/S [ 3 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion Yesterday I had a poor Shave with this combo when dealing with Two days growth. I decided to have a further Shave today and was pleased that all went well, nice and smooth and a good close all round finish was attained. Must remember that this Razor does not work well for me when dealing with heavier growth.
Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap The Brush B-3 by Tom TiBr Wabbit Personna Injector CWR Tabac ASB This is my first shave with the TiBr (Tom's injector Blade razor) Wabbit. It came to me with three base plates. I just picked one. The TiBr Wabbit weighs in at 16g. The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the TiBr Wabbit razor with a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... It was a very successful shave. Finding the right angle was quit easy.

Now that is some interesting gear. How did the Fuzzy catcher work out for a shave ? Fuzzy likes his lather catchers I recall.

Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(10) excellent blade, very sharp, good longevity, smooths out nicely over time + predictable. Soap : Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore, nice mild vanilla tobacco scent, excellent lather qualities, excellent post shave feel. Brush: Yaqi Moka Express synthetic, eye candy, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrub, easy to grip, great lather painter, first use of this pleasant to use knot & brush, it has softer back bone than other yaqi knots IMO but gives a nice gentle scrub IMO. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cols water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea. Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper = Excellent shave with my ER British 1912 with a coated Gem Blade. Have some great shaves! Stay& think safe in these times!
First impressions are good. I definitely need to use it more to be able to give much feedback on the design.
