It’s a really good thing for me that I used my Super Speed because with another razor I probably would have gotten cut all over - I haven’t shaved so fast in a long time but I have to do a few errands. This razor was given to me as a gift for my fourteenth birthday by my Dad, of dearly loved and cherished memory and it’s so precious to me. It always helps me get great shaves so easily even though my beard is so tough, and it’s so forgiving. Jaco’s Klipspringer soap is a work of art - the lovely coffee/peppermint scent, the rich, thick, super slick lather together with the nice menthol sensation, and the soothing postshave feeling. The Prep and the Aqua Velva finished the job perfectly. It was a miracle that I ended up BBS with no issues because I think it took me less than five minutes to do this shave!

The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the TiBr Wabbit razor with a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

That's why they called it Super Speed!

RAZOR: Witte Copperhead 6/8 (Mug), Fine Marvel Safety Razor (Dome)
BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: MrEE Knurled Aluminum Handle Hybrid Knot #007
SOAP: Baron’s Choice
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Alt-Innsbruck AS Splash.

DE SOTD, Thur, March 25th 2021

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo .72- excellent mid range, I receive excellent results usually and carefree shaving. Does not get much better for shaving. Good razor for a daily driver from medium to heavy beard possibly for some folks IMO.
Blade: Polsilver super iridium (1 corked) I always cork this blade for first shave because it seems a little rough but it becomes a excellent blade after that. Sharp & smooth + great longevity. One of my favorite blades.
Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood, excellent scent + great lather qualities. Good post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi Moka express 24 mm- new addition to brush collection, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrub + good lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my 2nd Gen Lupo.72 + Polsilver SI blade.
