My Omega Roma Colosseum arrived today and I will use it tomorrow. It is very similar to the T3. I don't know how the two companies achieve their different declared measurements, because the knot diameters look the same to me. I can tell the loft on the Roma is taller though.

Thank you, Clint! I'm really enjoying the Mike's soaps. I used another scent today, as you'll see in my next post... ;)

Thank you, Jeff. And thank you for the continued prayers.

    Thank you, Patrick!

Thanks Paul! It was a good day! You may be allergic to the ingredients because I do not get any tingling sensation.

    Thursday's Shave

    RazoRock Game Changer .68 OC
    Gillette Nacet (2)
    Simpson T3
Mike's Pine & Cedarwood Shaving Soap
    T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Pitralon Classic Aftershave
    Pino Silvestre EdT

An early morning shave that was relaxing, efficient and free of mishaps or irritation. Just 2 passes did the job quite well.
I went with another of Mike's Natural Soaps today - Pine & Cedarwood. The Pitralon Classic AS (cedar) and Pino Silvestre EdT (pine) make great pairings with this soap.

Great looking shave Pierpaolol. Love the Dark Masamune.

Looking good Andrew. Mike's Pine & Cedarwood must smell like a walk in the forest. I really enjoy Mike's no nonsense approach to scents.

I bet you will love the Roma. The knots do look the same to me as well with the Roma being a little taller. I look forward to seeing what you think of the brush.

    Thank you, Joe!

Thank you, Clint! The soap's scent really does smell that way. Straight pine and cedar.
Ironically though, as you know, I've been working on burning that big pine log in the back yard for several days (on and off). Yesterday, I chopped an old 20ft red cedar tree log in half and added it to the top of the pine log to keep the fire burning. Not much is left at this point. The pine log was originally 20 feet long and 30 inches wide.

I am looking forward to using the Roma tomorrow. I did a test lather in my hand and it feels very similar to the T3.

Morning shave, evening post. All is good, just busy with a few days off. Still rotating through my 6 soaps I picked for the month, but switched to the excellent Goodwill. The blade was already in there and is either a Polsilver or a Wizamet (same markings), but I’m pretty sure it is a Polsilver. A full 3 passes to being completely smooth. Finished with the GLSq, as I wanted to check the longevity of the CL splashes after Joe’s point about the US toner yesterday.
    Have a great night all!

A fabulous Friday on a couple of counts. First and foremost, another avatar change. Second, we will shave a little over a week off for the Easter break. There is the possibility that I will not have to go back until Wednesday, April 7th dependent upon whether or not I decide to get the vaccine.

Another fabulous shave this morning. A glorious three pass with the Schlick Type G. It delivered an extremely close and incident free, no crimson, shave. I am ready for one more day of high jinx with the Yutes.

    Have a great day gentlemen.
