I did try it (am a lavender man myself as well!) but did not purchase it as shipping costs were sky up figures.
Now he has a dealer in Europe and one of these days i'll order it!
I just wanted to understans the names he uses.

I think this is the best interpretation of a British lavander, ever tried, while the best Mediterranean is CF!
Funny enough...

My maternal grandparents were married 109 years ago!
They should celebrate, but I don't think they will....
Still... you can never tell: there's no definite news about the Afterlife!

I'm correcting my approach to spring/summer soaps as I was at Pitti Shave and this morning I used the Freelander: despite its age, the scent is delicate, but present, like that of a brand new Valobra.

The machine is like the one I shaved with my very first time.
I don't remember what soap my father used. I do remember, however, that he was a Prep freak!

The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Fuzzy Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

No complaints about this shave because I was able to take my time instead of rushing like I did yesterday. This Peppermint Glaciers soap requires quite a bit of effort to get a good, correct lather but once you get it going it’s really nice. The scent is beautiful, and there’s a pleasant menthol sensation along with a decent postshave feeling. This L’Oreal balm works very well, and the Don Donato aftershave smells awesome - not only that, it’s slightly mentholated which for me is a bonus. BBS once again!

POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with PAA Rabid Banana Star Jelly AS Balm.

After a couple of days with the Lynch slant aka Helga.. finally a mild shave..... lol uh what?? Yeah the R41 is mild now. There was a time when the R41 was the scary razor on the block.. just like when we were kids and old man Johnson was this scary dude who might have killed his family and eats all the stray cats in the neighborhood ... that dude was freaky... but when you meet the guy, you come to find out he a nice old man who has great stories and one heck of a funny bone. Well the R41 gets a bad wrap is what im trying to say. We scare all the newbies about its aggressiveness and in reality its not that bad and one just needs figure out how to shave with it.

BBS smooth is todays result with a mild shaving feel. The soap is doing much better and i believe its soaking up some water left in the bowl after which is giving it that little extra moisture.
