Awesome lineup, pic and shave Barry! Personally, I need 3 passes and pickups to get my head cueball smooth.

Wonderful Fat shave this morning. The Wester Bros. Razor does fantastic work on the 26 hour stubble. A superb three pass shave finished off with a very nice smoky bay rum.

We have a beautiful but breezy day here on LI. Have a fantastic day gentlemen.

This morning, I closed out(for the time being)my Stoylin Spice SS&AS duo. Today's brush was the Crown King Spindle Duro Tali. One of those "I reallly don't need a second pass, but I'll do it anyway to preserve the soap" shaves. Excellent work all the way around(face&neck). Somehow, a Knick entered into the shave(at S.E. Porcupine Alley-the chin). In this case, "somehow" means "I never felt the thing develop, but there it was". But overall, I was most pleased. Super Duper Excellent.

Thank you Joe....it felt great. Perhaps some "additional" loading would have prevented that Knick, but I'll never know.

Thank you Joe. If i don't use my Wahl clippers before i head shave, which i don't sometimes i also need 3 passes + pickups too to get a dolphin smooth finish.

Yes and no. The lather does not prevent the blade from touching your skin. The protection comes from the soap's slickness to let the razor glide with ease. This minimizes cuts because your skin will not bunch up when the razor easily moves along your face. You can have a Santa Claus beard lather and if your technique is not right or the angle is off, then you will cut yourself. One thing that isn't mentioned here is that you need to change the blade angle on hard to reach spots like under the nose or going against the grain on your neck. The angle of attack should be somewhat smaller when going against the grain on your neck.

I headshave every 2 to 3 days so I can get by without clippers.

I only do a full head shave once a month, sometimes twice on the odd occasion. Once a week i do a no-guard buzzcut to keep things neat and tidy.

    Schick E3
    Schick Injector Blade (7?)
    Omega Pro 48
    Glastonbury SS and AS
    Dickinson's WH and Nivea ASB
    Whiskers: 24 hrs

Did a 2 pass shave with a lot of buffing to get an IBSS ++. I should have binned this blade at the onset, but I try to stretch these blades because they are expensive. There wasn't any injuries or irritation from this shave. Did bin the blade afterwards and injected a new one. Finished the session with my normal routine. It isn't BBS, but it still is a good shave. I'm just going to the gym and then have lunch before I go home and do some stuff that needs attention. Have a good day guys! 20210327_095922.jpg

I am assuming that you have a full head of hair or close to it. If I let my hair grow, then I have the horseshoe look which is unbecoming, thus I need to frequently headshave.

Way to go sporting that retirement beard.

Excellent way to keep urges to break a no-buy in check.

We want the before and after pics when you decide to shave it off.
