    Watched Bill's latest video and for whatever reason I was inspired to choose the Gustave Lalune.

    I especially related to your comment about certain contortionist moves on the neck and jaw.
    These moves are for the circus-show     performer who can totally dislocate a joint or two.

    The recently-exposed chin is still proving challenging with an open blade.
    I will focus more on straights and see if I can get my proficiency up.
    Therefore, the results of this shave were decent...at best.
    Nowhere near BBS, with the exception of my cheeks.
    Don't let the name of today's fragrance fool you:

    This is a straight-up rose scent, albeit gothic in ambience.
    The Aoud (Oud) is light and the patchouli balances it out.
    Strong silage and projection and a beastly longevity of 12+ hours.
    Spray it on your clothes and you're looking at a 24-36 hour longevity.

    I must admit that lapping film edges are not as smooth as stone edges. It's why I finish on Crox and then strop on linen and finally on leather to make the edge smoother.

    Excellent shave Joseph! Fortunately, I never had a problem with the inverted stroke going ATG on my jawline, neck and side of my head.
