Thank you Dave. The H plate is more efficient than the Merica. Both are smooth and easy to use.

Awesome lather this morning. I really enjoy Fine Soaps. I just hope their new line is as great as these soaps.

I needed a little brass love this morning so I brought out the Karve. I just love this razor. Three smooth drama free passes. Oh yeah!

A little witch hazel and a couple of squirts of juice and this Monday shave was in the bag. I hope everyone has this great of a shave this morning.

    Happy Monday everyone!

I am officially off this week because it is spring break.
Anyway, I just was contacted by Yurii Kravchenko of ArtRazor this morning. He says that my 13/8 custom blade will be finished this week and sometime after, the scales will be placed on the razor. I am excited! I am guessing that I may have this razor by the end of April/ early May. I am accounting for the time it will take to go through customs.

This morning's shave began with a shocker-I knocked my open soap puck into the sink water! How's that for blooming my soap, eh? I did it before moistening my brush under the tap, wondering if I really HAD to, but I did. It led to a real fine shave all around, though. I learned I must go very slow and careful at North Porcupine Alley(directly under the nose). Thankfully, I avoided a cut there. I had the Razorock Tuscan Oud again for soap. Worked its magic all over, as I said. No cuts or Knicks anywhere.2 passes. A little extra work around the sideburn areas(both sides). Agadir A.S. for the nice, clean, fresh finish. Although I certainly hope I won't knock any future soaps into the water, this gets the best-Outta This World Excellent.

Fine aftershaves really got me upset at first, reading their descriptions. I thought-Hey they are cloning old favorites. Now as I sit here, about 2 years after that thought, I must say, Boy did I have a lot to learn!!!(Meaning that other companies do the same thing).

Awesome shave Paul! Why tamper with success? I think you found a technique that suits you! Go ahead and keep dropping the puck in a sink full of water! Lol!

Y'know, I actually thought to keep doing that!! Course if I kept it up, I'd lose my Vice-Presidency of Bloomers Without Borders, or whatever that group's title is. Maybe I'll do it with 3x-milled soaps-so hard to penetrate those babies.
