Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Nivea Men DEEP CLEAN Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien ~ PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
Face Lather.
Lather : Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap.
Blade: Shark Super Stainless.(D1)
Razor: Ming shi 2000s. (Settings) 2. wtg, 2.5 xtg, 3. atg+pick ups.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./ P&G ~ Old Spice Whitewater ASL.

In my previous shave i used the Ming Shi 3000s Adj ,it has now been passed on to a work friend of mine who ask me sometime ago now , if he could possibly loan for a while to try it out, i told him when his passing come and collect it and if he felt confident shaving with it he could keep it...He phone me up yesterday and told me he had a wonderful successful shave i said it's yours for good now .Enjoy....That's what friends do for one another, besides i have enough Adjustable razors in my humble DE razor collection to contend with to last me for the rest of my days....The Ach Brito Mogno soap is a wonderful performer it get top marks for it's performance, scent, protection, slickness & post shave feel. A wonderful shaving soap.

A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a generous splash of P&G ~Old Spice Whitewater ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Trying out my setup for April. Standard Razor cast aluminum, Proraso crema and after shave, Fendrihan plisson synthetic. It’s warming up here, so cooling menthol feels nice.

AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Avon Spicy
Fragrance: Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb

Every once in awhile I get the itch for a straight razor shave and today was the day. 2 passes with the Weck unguarded Personna. a couple inattention marks but all sealed easily. 3rd pass cleanup duty was handled by the RFB Gillette. The soap was a sample from Ken (Fluffy)and in a word it's SKIPPY. I can see adding this to the den when room is made. I like the lathering ability of the sample. The feel of the soap and slickness. Thanks Ken, enabling was successful with this one and joins the Hub City Morning Hike from Mike (Highspeed)as the next 2 soaps I could see adding when the time comes. Topped off with Spicy from Avon and some Spicebomb. Have a stellar day everyone !!

I know I’ve said this before, Jason, but your lighting for your SOTD photos is excellent! It really brings out those beautiful wood grains! The Karve is such an excellent razor. By the way, I’m unloading my LaResche 61, I know you’ve expressed interest in the past! It’s the three piece version of the 51. I’ll give you a great deal! Oh, right, you’re on that no buy thingee! As Roseanne RoseannaDanna used to say on SNL, “NEVER MIND”!

Happy Tuesday Everyone. Yesterday was a very long day and I expect today to be much the same. At least I was able to get in a relaxing shave to start the day. Everything played well together delivering a drama free BBS shave. I need to decide which razor I will use to finish out the work week. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

 

Youze “Lungisland” guys just don’ know classy food like we does down Philly way! I ain’t surprized! Dat food you gets in the Hamptons spoiled you! I'm lettin’ the Scarfo family know dere’s dis Sicilian mutt up Lungisland way what don’t like Philly Cheesesteaks!
