Stahly head on a Weber Bulldog handle.
    Rapira Platinum Lux blade
    Simpson T3 Trafalgar brush
    Simpson shave cream
    Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion

Excellent lather courtesy of the T3. The T3 is an awesome synthetic brush and does not disappoint.

After watching Dave's @Dave in KY pretty mug give the Stahly a go yesterday I decided to put my Stahly head on the Weber Bulldog and give it a go this morning. It is a lot more controllable razor with the flashlight handle removed. Three nice passes. Not quite a BBS but close. I wonder what a Feather will do in this puppy? :signs002:

A little witch hazel followed up by the Clubby juice and I am ready for Tuesday.

My knots are suppose to be here today so hopefully I will be test driving Evan #011 in the morning. :happy108: I think they were stuck in the Suez Canal. :D

    Have a great day gentlemen.

SOTD TUESDAY MORNING, MARCH 30, 2021

I’m fortunate to belong to the TSD’s 30DC thread crew. In addition to making great friends, I get to benefit from the wealth of wet shaving know-how we all collectively possess, as well as the output of several highly skilled brush handle makers, one of whom builds anodized aluminum handles on his own home grown CNC equipment. I’ve really taken to his latest LE offering, this gorgeous blue LE handle.

Over the last few years I find myself beginning to migrate away from natural fiber brushes to the newer synthetics that have improved immeasurably from the original non-absorbent nylon offerings. I own several, but have been blown away by the effectiveness of the new 24mm SynBad knot I fitted to this superbly balanced handle. Not only does it have excellent flow-through, but it has incredible softness with sufficient backbone to bowl lather MWF, my ultimate test of any brush.

Mike’s Hungarian Lavender, like all his offerings, is an excellent soap, but unfortunately had sat unused in the empty condo for over a year. While I can’t speak to the scent, I can testify to the great protective lather and glide provided. The Wade & Butcher 7/8 sailed through my mug stubble in three lovely passes leaving my face glassy smooth. The Supply V2 completed its two ATG dome passes leaving your happy narrator refreshed, cool, and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: Wade & Butcher 7/8 (Mug), SS Supply V2
    BLADE: Schick Twin Injector
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: MrEE LE Blue Aluminum Handle with SynBad Knot
    SOAP: Mike’s Hungarian Lavender
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

The feature of this morning's shave was no doubt the Agua Lavenda Puig....by all accounts a cologne, but I thought I'd try it as an aftershave. Launched in 1940, it makes as a strong choice for Throwback Thursday. I would say, in short, that is Mennen Skin-Bracer on double steroids. Lots of lavender, as you see in its name. I had to be careful so as to use just a little per dab-you must respect the "cologne" title. I used the unscented Stoylin Sheep for my soap. Good choice. 0:25 to load the Stoylin brush("li'l brudder"). Fine shave all around. No cuts/Knicks. 2 passes. Once again I was very careful around N. Porcupine Alley(just over the upper lip). Outta This World Excellent. Back with more Agua Lavenda tomorrow.

    Good morning guys!

1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable (Full Throttle)
    Rockwell Blade (5?)
    Stirling Boar Brush
    Stirling Glastonbury SS and AS
    Dickinson's WH and Nivea ASB
    Whiskers: 40.5 hrs

I haven't used my Slim Adjustable in awhile so it needed to come out of hiding. Used the wet method to lather today, however, I did squeeze some water from the brush, but it still was beyond damp. Loaded a frothy lather to apply to the face and then reloaded like it owed me money. Relathered my face to get a nice, wet, creamy, slick lather. Stirling soaps are so easy to lather and it loves to be hydrated. At 2.34 per oz, the quality and value of this soap can hold it's own with the top tier soaps imo. Did 2 passes to get a BBS - shave, but that is with plenty of buffing. There weren't any mishaps nor irritation. I binned the blade after the shave. Finished in the usual way and I am happy with this morning's shave. Enjoy your day guys!

The Weck's Sextoblade is one of the most unforgiving shavettes out there. Despite the memory lines, you did a great job shaving with it. Have a great day Dave!
