Ok, I voted that I’d use only Arko for the entire month of April. To be honest, it’s not a big stretch for me, as I use arko most of the time anyways.
What I do want to work on is using my DE razors. Years ago when I started wet shaving, I started with DE razors. I never really got a good shave from them, and quickly moved to SE razors. After a few years of only using SE razors, I went to using straight razors. I’ve only used straights for the last few years. Here lately, I’ve been using all different types of DE, SE, straights, and shavevetts. Tonight I used a razor I just received, it was totally a different experience for me. I’ll post what I used in my next post.

Congrats on your COVID vaccine, Paul. We got our second jab yesterday. We experienced pretty much the same thing here with arm soreness. Kathy had some chills and felt a bit off today. The nurse warned me against possible ice cream cravings, but I fought them off with some homemade chocolate chip cookies. :)

The children's hospital cleared me to start volunteering again in two weeks, but I still need to get the OK from my Bride's oncologist. He will have me wait a little longer just to be on the safe side. She for sure will have to wait longer. We did make some haircut appointments, and Kathy will start meeting with some of her friends beginning later this month in a weekly Bible study. She hasn't seen most of these gals in person for more than a year. It feels great to start taking some baby steps back to normal. I have been informed that we will be eating at nice restaurants quite frequently to make up for lost time. :)

We plan to spend a week or two in Minnesota this summer. This will include a few days of check ups and some additional time to explore the area. We didn't get to do much exploring last year. We've already arranged to meet up with one of our new friends there. We're also making plans to be in Florida next winter if we can find a reasonable place to stay.

    Life is good, eh? :)

Ok, this is a follow up to my earlier post on this section. so earlier today, I received a new razor in the mail, and used it for tonight’s shave. That razor is a OneBlade Core.
This is totally different from any razor I ever used. Definitely different from the straights I’m used too! Lol
    Anyways I used
    OneBlade razor
    Feather blade
    Arko soap
    Generic boar brush
    Barbasol brisk aftershave

I got a decent shave, with no irritation. I’m sure the shaves will get better as I use this razor more.[IMG]

    Ha!
No comparison. Tabac is a quality soap that produces a fine lather with (in my humble opinion) a blasé scent that I don’t find pleasant.
Clubman, on the other hand, has been scientifically proven to be a better drain cleaner than aftershave...with an appropriate scent for its preferred task. ;)
