    Greetings,

    (Chinese Clone razor week.)

A new shave set up to start the weekend....Carrying on with my month of Indian made DE blades using the Gillette 7'0clock Super Platinum, which paired together with the Yintal super speed clone superbly making a mild smooth efficient duo.
It's been a while since i last used the KMF shave cream and forgot how you only need a small amount to get a adequate slick protective lather without adding more to the mix...Don't be put off with it's feminine packaging it's a great shaving cream which i should and will use more regularly with my shave set ups.

A enjoyable 3 pass +pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off a with a small dollop of L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

    Razor: Timeless .95 SB/Windrose
    Blade: Wizamet (2)
    Brush: Stuart/Timberwolf
    Soap: T&S Sicily 1508.5 Project
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: T&S Sicily
    Fragrance: BVLGARI Aqva Amara

Upon loading the .95 plate with the Asylum top cap I could see it looked the same as when used with the .68 if not more pronounced and so I decided it was a no go. I will use the O-ring method for that until I come up with a plan to file it uniformly and am in the mood to throw caution to the wind. Honestly I got a good shave with the O-ring method and will return to it. But for today I wanted a final shave with the full Timeless .95 SB Head and got another superb shave. This is a winner for me and will watch the BST's for a good deal. I would like one but not enough to shell out north of $200 without a handle when I have others that do the same or better at a fraction of the price. I want to thank Mike (Highspeed) for sharing this an giving me a chance to answer a question that has lingered in my mind for literally years. [IMG] The 1508.5 continues with a slight enlargement of the doughnut hole with each use. Today the damage was inflicted by Stuart and a Timberwolf knot. I clean a smooth with ZERO irritation and smelling good. Have a swell day guys !!

SOTD SATURDAY MORNING, APRIL 10, 2021

Up early with old man issues! Peripheral neuropathy is what the doc called it! Burning shooting pains in my feet is what I call it, and it woke me up! So what better way to feel better than to have a great shave! It was time for my second favorite Japanese razor, the Diamond Hayashi Nichiri Tokusen 6/8. Two pasted linen stroppings and one on leather set the stage for another great buttery smooth, three pass, Japanese silver steel shave. The 22mm Silvertip Badger knot I set in my son’s blue resin handle is growing on me. It pairs beautifully with my favorite soap, MWF. So incredibly soft yet possessing the necessary backbone to effortlessly generate more lather than I’d ever need. I have a small collection of French safety razors, LeResche, Le Coq, Famex, L’Essor, and Spadson, the last of which is my Mayhem razor. For this morning’s shave I selected the LaResche 51. The undulating OC design never fails to deliver, and the excellent two pass, ATG noggin shave testified to its expertise. I feel refreshed, clean and porcelain smooth.

RAZOR: DH Nichiri Tokusen 6/8 (Mug), LeResche 51 (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: BG Blue Resin 22mm Silvertip Badger
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence AS Balm.
