Today is the first day of my Rockwell Model T week-long mini focus using Feather blades. I finally got a great lather with minimal effort with this lather hog. I have to load very heavy to do so. I guess that will be true for my other badger brushes as well. The lathet was thick, creamy and slick in preparation of using a Feather blade. I achieved a BBS shave that would almost pass the cotton ball test with only 2 passes and no touchups. Did get a weep on my lower neck and one on the corner of mouth. The one by my mouth was during a fool's pass. I should have known better. Lol! I applied cold water and it seemed to do the trick, but I applied the styptic at the end of the shave as a precautionary measure. The Stirling Spice scent is a super frag. Applied a double splash of the matching aftershave and did I get a real burn! I guess I really did get a very, very close shave. Lol! I think that I will use the same setup all week to make it a true mini focus. I want to really see if I can really dial in my Semogue brush once and for all. Have a terrific day guys!

Fantastic shave, setup and pic Dave! Glad you like the Rockwell blade. I find them to be a great intermediate aggressive blade that suits me well. I can get 8 shaves, but I bin them at 5 or 6 shaves. Have a super Sunday!

Happy Sunday everyone. Same basic lineup as yesterday with just a change in the brush. The CH2 synthetic is just a joy face lathering. I love the tremendous backbone, density and softness. I added a few drops of lanolin to the brush while face lathering. I am a believer in this trick. Thanks @Keithmax for the tip. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

If I was going to go that route, then I think King Kong (Double K or KK) would be more appropriate. It also keeps the alliterative name of a screen character just like I did with Mad Max. Lol!

Very nice Bill! I guess you will keep your coticule despite getting great results on your convex stones. As they say, variety is the spice of life.
