Nivea Deep Vanilla and Bourbon

Ended up adding a tiny dab of Gillette Pure after I loaded the Williams, just enough to get the scent in there. Modified and loaded up a new GSB into the Gibbs, set it to 4 and 3 passes later I’m BBS. The Gibbs felt pretty smooth but the alum revealed I was a bit heavy handed. A splash of witch hazel and then the Nivea and my face feels refreshed and I’m ready to relax a bit before bed.

Very cool looking Gibbs! What do you think of that Nivea product? Not sure I’ve seen that before.

 

It’s some nice juice. Always leaves my face feeling hydrated, smells great to me and can’t argue with the price and availability. To my untrained nose it’s a lot more vanilla than bourbon but not overly sweet.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.
Face Lather.
Lather : Chinese Cologne Soap.
Blade: Indian Gillette 7'0clock Super Platinum. (D4)
Razor: Ab Inox Eco Safety Razor.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. + 3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./ Duru ~ Mandarin Cologne.

Last outing of the Indian Gillette 7'0clock Super Platinum which has performed superbly throughout the week, and has paired together wonderfully with all of my Chinese made clone razors throughout the week.

Another enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a generous splash of Duru ~ Mandarin Cologne.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Thursday shave: This Koraat 14 2.0 double belied hollow is always a pleasure to use. Castle Forbes and my Elite Razor Manchurian White completed the team for today's shave. Today's juice is Dunhill Silver Shadow.

Yes it is Jason. Grabbed them on sale at the local drugstore awhile back for about 3 bucks . This one has a nice fresh scent and feels good on freshly shaved skin.
