    Wow! You only have a little over 3 weeks left of classes and one month before graduation. Time really flew very quickly! I can't believe in just over 3 months you will be starting basic training.

    My Delrin made it into today and I squeezed a little lathe therapy in after work.

    I made three handles
    to see how they would turn out.

    The one for the Tatara Nodachi has the extended piece to fit in the base plate like the factory handle.

    Above the Tie head is on the deck for in the morning.

    The handles are light weight and with a stainless steel head are head heavy but with an aluminum head seems to be balanced out.

    Lift to go right, lower to go left ;) The propane doesn't act the same. Smooth running but gotta keep moving to avoid burning the floors.

    I believe it is 155 US dollars for the razor, the standard plate (aggressive)and a nice leather bag to store it. It is 179? US dollars for the standard and the hyper -aggressive plates.

    It is crazy to think about, that you are right about Joe. Right now as many people say, I'm letting the good times roll. I may not have a whole lot of time left but I am spending as much time as I possibly can around all my friends before they got to college and I go to boot camp. It is a bitter sweet moment needless to say. It is gonna be great to see what the future holds but at the end of the day I am gonna miss these memories we all made. Hell, I miss it already and I haven't finished yet. I don't take it for granted but rather cherish it. I used to wish high school away and as much as I disliked/dislike it, If I could go back and re experience those good memories I definitely would.
