Random selection of gear today. Why I chose what I did remains to be seen, but for the most part,
a successful shave. Not to say that I incurred any bloodshed or irritation,
but if I were to be very picayune, I would say that the Simpson Rover's knot,
while very soft with a fair amount of backbone, is very small and for my tastes,
does not hold enough lather. Also, the Gustave Lalune needs stone work. Period.
I couldn't even achieve a BBS on my cheeks, which is unheard of.
The Yardley lather and the YSL M7, were the stars of the shave.
M7 has what might be referred to as a cult following. It was really the first "Oud"
scent released in the West and was particularly groundbreaking.
Since 2002, westerners have become acclimated to Agarwood and have embraced the scent.
The M7, is quite tame vis-à-vis Oud as compared to today's barnyard oud perfumes.
Nevertheless, it is an icon and has a magnificent scent.

I must say the Passion 4 Men cologne is real nice! Not too light, but not overpowering either. Pleasant scent. And 4 oz.....thing'll be around for a long time. This might work all year round, too. Gives off a cool-ish feeling, but no Stoylin Glacial Sheep cool. This was a good purchase. As for today's shave, pretty routine all the way around. The areas where I must be most careful are Northeast and Northwest Porcupine Alley(just under the nose). I find that Gillette Foamy's big strength is its spreadability. No cuts/Knicks. Yardley Black Label A.S. to finish it off. Outta This World Excellent.

Nice shave, Andrew! You’ll get it dialed in! New blades can sometimes upset the smooth-riding apple cart! The OneBlade is the only safety razor I never mastered! I still have a Hybrid that’s listed on some of the BSTs. I never shaved with Carts, and thus never was comfortable with the whole pressure thing. At my point in life I just decided to give it a pass! Not interested in Cart or Cart-like shavers. Many here really enjoy the razor. Have a great day! :)

Great shaves, pic, setup and post Jeff! The heavier grinds definitely are silent, but they are also more forgiving. Have a great day!

Fabulous shave, Clint! They just don’t get any better than a Supply shave! You need to give it a shot with a Twinjector! It’s now my preferred blade in the Supply. :)
