    A: Nope, Alabama.

Very cool all the way around, Danny. I actually wore Stetson back in the days when I still had my hair and my sense of humor. ;)

Agreed. So many ways to get the same results.
When I 1st started honing razors, I watched some videos, and did some reading on the subject. I started learning on lapping paper. It was a cheap investment, in case I couldn’t do it, or decided it wasn’t for me. However, a lot of members here were very helpful, when I changed over to natural hones.
But very true, everyone has there own method.

Thanks, Joe. My fault the razor's not sharp enough.

Awesome pick Myles. I read that is a good knot .My favorite break in method is using it . The water treatment I assume is to help take the funky smell out of the boar. Even just loading it up and making lather on your palm a few times aids in the break in process. The Semogue 1305 is another good premium boar that is lather ready out of the box . Hope that helps :)

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start this cold Colorado day. We got a couple of inches of snow last night. 15° with a windchill of 8° when I went out and shoveled. Aren't we 2/3rds of the way through April?

The floor installation completed Sunday afternoon and the finishers arrived bright and early yesterday. They got it sanded, filled, sanded and stained. They'll be back today to apply a couple of coats of sealer then one last coat on tomorrow. There's a light at the end of the tunnel. Forty seven pieces of baseboard will start going back on on Monday then it'll be moving furniture back where it belongs.

    Have a great day!

:happy097: Yup. I am completely smitten with frags...to the extent that I don't even care about my razors/soaps/brushes...seriously, I could sell 3/4 of them and not lose a wink of sleep.
I don't follow the weather to decide on my scents. I wear what suits me at the moment, for better or worse, although I am more apt to wear a winter fragrance in the summer, than I am the other way around. The M7 is great juice, but so is my YSL M7 Oud Absolu (Black Label).

Another nice shave with the MonoBilt this morning. Maybe a little bit of sandpaper on one spot on the jawline, but it has been 3 hours. Love the soap base, love the scent, love the Fine product to finish. I guess the yearly SV LE should be available soon, but I may have to actually show some restraint, as these hard pucks can survive nuclear winter and it'll be years until the current ones are even close to being done. The boar flattop is starting to split on the tips and continues to not be nearly as floppy as it would look.
    Have a great day all!
