    Thank you. The Mahogany and the Nivea Deep make a really nice pain. Not exact matches but they work together nicely. I randomly found the Nivea at a local store and it was love at first sniff.

    John, you have some excellent safety razors in your den! I love my Vector, and should shave with it more, but keep selecting others lately! The Vector and my Colonial General V2 are my goto AC safety razors! I used to be primarily a boar guy, but lately have been blown away by some of the excellent synthetic knots now available. Enjoy your day! :)

    Great shave kit as usual, but I would respectfully disagree with your comparison. I also have both, and shave regularly with MWF. Electric Sheep is good stuff, but I find the after shave MWF skin benefits as a long term MWF user to be superior. YMMV. :)

    Vintage Avon Spicy AS

    Went with the MonoBilt for a 3rd day. The A&E really is a quality lather, the scent just plain works with OS and dupes as well. 3 easy passes to smoothness. This brush is probably my favourite resin handle- quite comfortable in the hand, and these Pro knots works well in everything I throw 'em in. The Spicy isn't an exact match with Shulton (the Reserve Spice is the closest dupe that I have, fwiw) but isn't too far off.

    Interesting comments on the Zenith and an Omega, John. That Chubby looks like a great knot, and the shorter loft would get away from any floppiness (my complaint about the cheaper Zenith I have). You don't like Omegas? Limp noodle? Were they the big Pro knots?

    Thanks Jeff. I have a Razorock Plisoft brush as part of my shave kit for work/travel. It’s one heck of a nice performing brush. I want to add another synthetic, just waiting for the right handle to come my way.
