Andrew, I keep my regular rotation straights in three 7 day set cases. My most favorites are organized from top to bottom and left to right. The huge stubtail has its own case, and I have two barber’s razors (a Feather DX and a Monsieur Charles) that are keep separate. There are three beater straights that also aren’t included. :)

Switched to the stainless Hawk this morning. Not the smoothest feeling AC razor out there, but it gets the job done without incident. This Baker St soap seems to be regenerating itself. Decided to sic the CH2 on it to get it running scared. Not sure if that worked, but the lather was very good.
I am quite smooth, but MrsSpartan did wrinkle her nose at the splash a bit. It didn't get the dreaded Gentleman/Mountain Man ban, though.
    Have a great day all!

Enjoy following along with your shaves, Troy. Great shave and a great post as well. Take care.

Nice shave kit, John! Many of us have the same dilemma before every shave. I have organized my straights and brushes, but my safety razors and soap/creams/croaps and associated stinks are a mess. I’m focusing on the soaps to get them organized this and next month. My safety razors are gradually being downsized. The problem of two many excellent choices is a familiar one here! ;)

I've had those days too...staring at the gear looking for inspiration. Did you ever have the Nuavia in those nice ceramic bowls, John? Not having refills available was a disaster.

Lovely shave kit with your usual superb summary, Barry! You have a fascinating selection of safety razors, most of which I'm not familiar with! I look forward to your posts! :)

Great top tier shave kit, as usual, Keith! Very interesting blade design. Glad you’re back with us for as long as you can! :)

The razor scales and brush make for a stunning combo, Keith. Just beautiful. We'll start a club for those of us who chose red from MrEE. Obviously the nicest colour...:)

Great post. Yup, it removes more than whiskers. Ever notice how when people drop by who aren't active on here anymore, they are always still wetshaving?

Great shave, Dave with a rare, sought-after razor! Sounds like it’s a winner for you! I smiled at the “y’all” from a fellow Pennsyltuckian, albeit displaced for a few decades! The southern dialect is clearly leaking into your former perfect Middle Atlantic speech! ;)

A great pic, as always, Clint. One note on those Semogue boars- don't ever try to bash a knot out and put it in your own handle. The 'knot' is not a straight, flat bottomed knot like most everything else. Fanned on an angle and you won't get it to sit properly in anything else.

Veddy nice shave Danny! I am a firm believer in repeating consecutive shaves with the same gear, especially if the shaves are great! Have a great day!
