Sorry to hear about the cut, Jason, but I've had the same experience with Madame Barbasol. She's a very jealous lady, and if your attention isn't 100% she will bite, and when she does, she doesn't play around. Hope things heal quickly, and that your day went well despite the mishap.

I read the 16k Shapton has a .92 average particle size. Photos I saw had it marked on the stone.

I was considering a Shapton set at one time. I almost bled out when I calculated the full monte cost. So I sent a couple of razors out to have honed by a pro who favors them. The edges did not warrant the cost for me.

I’m still choking at the thought opening my wallet for Jnats and watch the cash fly.
