    Blackland Sabre w/2 dot plate, Gem ptfe stainless blade, shave 3

    2 shaves in with this razor and I find it okay but not anything special. My opinion is this razor shaves like something a DE shaver when it was originally designed with little to no understanding or experience using SE blades. It does shave decently but doesn't get over the BBS finish line for me with a prickly feeling chin still after 5 passes.

    Awesome shave, the rotbart is slightly aggressive. The rest is awesome too.. hmm thats all i got.

    SE SOTD, Fri, April 23rd,2021

    Razor: Kai AC style folding Shavette-Mfg 2018> great well made zamac razor, I like the folding type AC for the different positions to manipulate the blade.
    Blade: Kai Protouch guarded (5)- excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity, favorite blade with this razor.
    Soap: Razorock The Dead Sea, really enjoy this scent, excellent lather qualities. Great post shave Feel.
    Brush: Yaqi red Zebra handle 26mm knot [​IMG] Excellent lather generator, Heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrub + great painter.
    Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups. WTG + 2X ATG + pickups.
    Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[​IMG]Excellent shave with my Kai style AC folding Shavette with a Kai Protouch guarded blade.

    That looks like a fantastic overall shave and color matched too! I wanted to try Mickey Lee Soapworks but, sadly, I cannot find them anywhere in a search so far.
