Friday mail call is as follows. First a 1965 Gillette Fare Tip Super Speed made in England with NOS Gillette Blue Blades and case. Second from Phoenix Shaving PAA’s Garden Of Bali soap and splash and Sundown soap again by PAA. Douglas Smythe really nailed Sun Down’s scent; it’s as close to vintage Gillette Sun Up aftershave as anyone can get.

Just received my new Yaqi Atlantis synthetic brush today, I know I'm a Yaqi Fanboy after just buying some more. The mail service is a lot slower from China to Canada because less flights and no doubt their backlog of products at the China mail must look like a small mountain. It takes about 4-5 weeks to get something sent by both mail services from both countries. Have some great shaves! Stay & think safe in these times!
It is a really simple product with just bay. It lasts about 15 minutes for me and is fairly high in alcohol content. About the only thing close to it that I have tried is Dr. Sana Alcoholado. Most others I have tried all have a bunch of additives. I am not much of an AS guy and this works well for me. I used to be able to get at the bodega across the street from my work for just over $2 a bottle. If you see it locally, I would definitely give it a try as long as it wasnt too pricey.

Their website isn't great. The company is, though. I have one of their West Coast Shaving Ever Ready 500E models, and I plan to pick up at least one more when they drop some new Dubl Ducks.

They do seasonal drops of the brushes, and they don't last very long. The razor is new. This first drop was a trial run of 25 of what they believe to be production representative units, but he's looking for feedback just in case something needs to change before he starts getting them built on a larger scale.
