Monday’s UPS call is from Italianbarber.com. Today I got the Razorock XXX Fresco soap, Razorock 28mm Beehive synthetic shave brush, Razorock German 37 slant razor and 100 Rapira Platinum Lux blades. 392CCF05-C608-4706-9CED-FEE5F4030DF1.jpeg

I picked up another Old Spice mug last week. An American Glass Early 01 (no ribs).

It's not like I needed another but it was only $3. It was so filthy I wasn't sure it would clean up or I would end up removing some of the logo trying to get the gunk off but it cleaned up quite nicely.

He's planning to have them made in much larger quantities once he gets feedback from this initial 25 run. I've never used a Gibbs. Closest I can compare it to will be my Ambassador. I plan on doing a stand-alone review video as well as a side-by-side with the Ambassador once my Heritage arrives.

Hmmm. It would make a great vid if you had comparison of a original and the 2 modern versions.

While I agree, I'm too practical to fiddle with blade modification, so I would never buy one of the originals. If by '2 modern versions' you are referring to the Yaqi and the Heritage, I won't buy the Yaqi version because of everything that went down with Heritage and Yaqi. So the best I can do is going to be Heritage Adjustable vs the Rex Ambassador.

Tuesday’s mail call is, first from Razor Emporium. I bought their mystery box along with an Omega hi synthetic shave brush. Also, from Etsy I bought a NOS Fenwicke Olde English Lavender Shaving Bowl. Does anyone have any info on the Fenwicke soap? Any info would be appreciated. :signs021:I see it first show up in the patents for mouth wash between 19o5 - 1907 and in 1935, but more likely the soap is from the 40's or 50's. Strictly my thoughts. Very nice buy though.

Dave in KY On second thought, Buttercup

I would assume it was produced by the JB Williams Co for them as it's the same bowl I have with Williams Soap and they did similar for Currier and Ives with similar bowl and writing in the soap, but it's just a guess. Or maybe by Yardley that had a Lavender soap in bowl too.

More grooming related than shaving, but with some familiar brands and scents. Looking forward to trying the newer B&M bar soaps. The Stirling shampoos have been my standard for a few years. I was getting low (relatively speaking) in both soaps and shampoos:
