Well my dad surprised me with 2 free bottles of Aqua Velva this afternoon... so of course I had to use one tonight! I guess he doesn’t like the scent???? His loss is my gain. No bother. The Yates Precision M / Pol-Silver / Razorock “No Label” took care of my stubble and the Velva soothed my skin before bed.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Yaqi ~ 24mm Naples Tuxedo Knot Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Haslinger ~ Aloe Vera Soap.
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum. (D3)
Razor: Parker 87r.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils +.3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./L'0REAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap PSB./Brut ASL.

Another good acceptable performance from the Indian Gillette Winner Platinum blade.

A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off a with a generous splash of Brut ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #403 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the King Cobra razor with a Feather Professional blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

We are yellow! This morning I didn't know whether to go to the disco, the movies, the restaurant or to get coffee and croissant: all this freedom finds me unprepared.
I have to get organized before they close us down again!

I was actually attracted to the idea of shaving at the disco!
But they wouldn't let me...

Given the splendidly gloomy day, the first thing I chose was the music: a melancholy Chet Baker that gradually became more lively, in line with the day that went from dark gray to bright.
Then I chose the soap: a very efficient Dutch one with an elegant bouquet and excellent performance.
Brush and razor were chosen accordingly.
A compact and quite liquid foam favored a sufficiently deep and very pleasant shave.

I can't stand Nivea: it goes back to serial accumulation, but its efficiency is certainly not excellent.
But I eschew waste!

The EdT has nothing to do with the scent of the soap, but... first, the soap has a very delicate scent and, second, after rinsing, no scent remains on the skin: I can use whatever I want!
And, since I'm not married, the choice is entirely mine!

Once again I froze my face to the moon and back but with a different setup. Jaco’s Kameelperd soap is a fabulous menthol atom bomb with a beautiful coffee/peppermint scent, his glycerine soaps are among the few which I can say lather great and have the kind of skincare that I need. The Prep and the Arctique aftershave added plenty of soothing along with a MONSTROUS menthol punch. What a lovely BBS shave this was!
