Which C Model do you have, Dave? The VC1 isn’t the smoothest shaving. :)

Dave, the Feather FHS-10 blades are the ones you’re referencing. They’re recommended for the OneBlade, although some use Gems in the earlier versions of that razor. I’ve heard they reengineered the head in newer versions to prevent Gem use. The blade I use in my Autostrop C Models is the carbon steel Feather FAS-10 blades which are stroppable. I’ve gotten 7-10 shaves on one through stropping. They aren’t cheap and aren’t widely available anymore. You can still get them shipped from Japan, but it’s not cheap as one needs to buy in bulk. I used my last one some months ago.

Habit Rouge is a classic. I am searching for a vintage bottle, but they are pretty pricey. If you are on an Apple, just do a cut screen shot:
Shift-Command-4 (Drag around the area you want to copy) Let go and you'll get a clip to your desktop.

I hope that it gets to Customs, they may mistake it for a weapon.

I hope the doctors quickly find a solution for your wife.

First day back at work in over a week. First and foremost, I want to thank you for your inquiries regarding the health and well being of my father. Unfortunately, he passed Monday afternoon from complications resulting from COVID 19. He lived a long and healthy life. From my recollection, this is the first time he was ever significantly sick and in the hospital. I will remember him as a man that had a zest for life and keep himself active. Yesterday, I decided to enter a raffle for the razor posted below, Pre-1897 Taylor Eyewitness 1000. I purchased three slices of pizza using the numbers 2, 3 and 9. This was my father's room number in the hospital. The admin substituted, due to availability, the number 9 for 5. The raffle produced the number 5. Therefore, every time I will use this razor I will have another remembrance of him.

Today's shave continued with the 1508.5 Project with the Loose Screw Uncomfortably Numb soap. For the past week, although I have not posted the shaves, I have used a disposable cartridge razor, Bic. Although the shaves were close, I missed my straight and DE razors. The W & B produced a close and comfortable three pass shave. I am ready for the Yutes and whatever else this day brings my way.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.
