What's your plan for "Mayhem" May?

Yes . I noticed that about the screw head . I think if you hacksawed or ground some off the top you would be fine since you could just use your thumb to hold tension while tightening the handle . And .....be careful:happy088:

Good answer :happy088:. Please remember that I also have your address now and lots of plexiglass left to make more of theses razors .

Thanks Blair...we may do some trial/swap later on. I have a Yates from Dave that I have not played with yet plus I need to put some more miles on the Colibri.

    Take care.

I got the height down a little. I want to remove the washer from between the blade and screw but I cannot get the radius filed out from under the screw head. I may have to find the Dremel.

This set up will work with any razor handle.

If you attach a second blade facing opposite direction you will have twice the fun btw :eatdrink013:

I think so to. I need to grind the radius out with the Dremel so the blade will fit flush against the bottom of the screw head.

If you slot the blade more you might also gain more clearance for the spline to clear handle.

Three days or more growth is my favorite time to use a straight razor.
There's enough hair for the blade to slice. DE blades, being substantially thinner,
can remove 24 hours growth easier than the thicker straight edge.
Good lather from the XPEC and the Simpson Polo
Three passes and I am quite satisfied with the results.
    Cheapie clone of Creed Aventus.
Having owned Aventus, I can tell you first hand this juice smells just like the Creed
    at 1/10th of the price.
This juice is the talk of the fragrance fora and there seems to be a consensus that
this scent most closely dupes the original 2010 Creed Aventus.

Good afternoon guys! I was going to wait to shave later this evening, but damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead! Lol!

This shave went very well. Love the RR Classic Soap scent of the almond/cherry. The soap is very slick and it just flat out performs for me.
After shaving with Artie, Mad Max felt like I was shaving with a 5/8 razor after I previously shaved with Mad Max. I guess that it is all relative. Anyway, Mad Max gave me a near BBS shave on 2 passes and without any incidents. Splashed on the witch hazel and then the Old Spice and I am good to go. Gentlemen, have a great evening!
