    Razor: Occam's SE
    Blade: Feather Super (2)
    Brush: Stirling Boar
    Soap: Fuzzy Face Monkey Farts
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: Ethos Fresh Lime
    Fragrance: CK One
    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 919

Brought out my Occam because of some talk on DFS about it. Got a great shave with dot 2 plate and a Feather Super. My problem is the shaves don't usually last as long for me and the long ears make a good XTG near impossible on the above the lip region. Still a fun shave with the Monkey Farts which is a cherry/banana bubble gum scent. I just like the name mostly but it is a good soap base. Taking the day off for things around the house that need attention. Have a great day Everyone !!

Happy Friday Dave. Great looking shave and photo. I have found that a little pressure with the Occam's razor makes a big difference in the closeness of the shave. The blade is designed to float in the head and seems to respond well to the pressure.

    Thank you Jason!

It’s hardware and software from FireBoard. I have their first version, bought on a Black Friday sale.

Great looking setup Joe! Time is a flying.

Fun combination for your Friday setup Dave!

Happy Friday Everyone. @Edison Carter Bill has spoken well of the Focus R48 and mentioned an updated model with improved blade loading. Since I have no will power, I ordered on several days ago. Unlike the Kanta, the R48 requires the blade to be snapped in half. The razor head is designed to use the small bends at the end to fully engage the locking mechanism. Once I had that part figured out, I was ready for the shave. I thought the R48 would be similar to the OneBlade. While they both have pivoting heads, the shaves were and technique appears to be very different. The R48 requires the head to rest perfectly flat against the face. This proved to be difficult in several areas of my face. Perhaps @Edison Carter Bill can offer me some tips. At any rate three passes and touch ups ended in a near BBS shave. My chin and lower right neck let the little guy escape. The R48 is a cool little razor that I look forward to mastering. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.

Congrats on the new razor Clint! It looks to me like you almost have it dialed in on your maiden shave with it. Enjoy your day.

May 14. I decided to give the Windsor a chance at a full head shave. It passed with flying colors. No bites at all and 2 passes over the old bean gave me a nice result. Then it cleaned up the face with a single pass today.

I had been leaving a mustache over the past week, but yesterday afternoon I took a hard look at myself and realized that my 40 year facial hair habit is well and truly gone so I took it off before I went out on a date.

I could not decide which picture to post this morning so everyone gets two for the price of one.

Colibri (Hummingbird) head with 1.10mm base blade on the Maggard MRT travel handle.
    Feather blade (3)
    Razorock 400 synthetic brush.
    Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap
Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

As I was whipping up the Fat this morning I was thinking about Jeff @jgreenepa and how he loves the Fat. I miss Jeff. I hope he is doing good, getting great shaves and is putting some miles on the TR6.

The Fat is just good stuff. It takes a little longer to whip up but when it gets there it is worth the effort.

I polished out the little Maggard's travel handle last night and decided to give it a run this morning. It is a fun stumpy little handle. The Colibri did not diassapoint this morning and delivered three great passes with just a hint of alum in a few places. I am really glad I added the Colibri to the den......it has been a great addition.

A little witch hazel followed by the Scottish Antique and Friday awaits.

Happy Friday everyone......the weekend is right around the corner. :bounce015:

    Good morning!

Fantastic Foúgere Friday shave! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum.

I decided to go a little unconventional with todays lens choice. I don't know that it made a difference in the picture but I did need to setup halfway across the room to get it to focus.

    Have a great day!

Right about that. Might do another 60 sometime later, though,,,but it would be for one A.S., a shave soap(4 oz., not the full-sized), and maybe a mug. That's $30, 18, and 12 respectively.

Back to the same products today as what I had yesterday(different brush though-the Maggard "Marble Handle".). I allowed the soap to be wetter than I like, thus 0:40 and 0:15 for the first pass. The extra load of 0:15 helped return things to normal. The only blemish was a Knick down at Cactus Nation, otherwise all went real well. Slow and steady up NE Porcupine, a bit less so up NW. Just as with Aqua Velva, I find I need to use a finger as a "stopper" at the pour spout of the Royal Copenhagen. Even so, some spilled out onto the sink. Rather than wiping it off, I used that to add more onto my face and neck. A "MayHem" move, no doubt(course I'll do that if need be during ANY month of the year). Most Excellent.
