Awesome scent. Another favorite of mine. I have a tendency to like the rich, darker, heavier /thicker scents. This one is on par with the AOS Sandalwood as far as my favorite scents. Im still experimenting with my lather and i was all over the place.
The razor is good as usual the blade might have like 7 shaves? Still seems pretty sharp, i dont feel any dullness or tugging. I have alot of blades, but no sense in throwing away a blade that is still cutting right.

  8. It is just my opinion, Gem has been making SE blades a lot longer than Feather, I think it is the steel Gem Personna SS PTFE uses mostly( proprietary formulated steel) that keeps a great edge and has better longevity. The first few shaves with a Gem or Feather can be a little harsh which usually indicates to me sharpness because the edge is so finite IMO. Most folks who first use a Feather usually receive nicks & weepers same as a Gem Personna SS PTFE until they figure the blade out. I can use a DE Feather with no issues now but when first learning I could use almost any other blade until I use a Feather> because the edge is so finite, the Gem Personna SS PTFE is very similar when first encountering them in the first 5 or six shaves for newbies.
For very sharp blades I like to use a milder razor for 1 or 2 shaves and progress to more aggressive razors seems to work very nicely for my shave routine and like that system that took a little while to figure out(not many folks ever mention that way of shaving over reading hundreds of threads).
I'm not sure if you have used the Feather FHS-10 blades, they are sharp for 1 or 2 shaves and just fall off quickly. Oneblade Core uses that Feather proprietary blade (FHS-10) in their razors.
I modified a Gem Personna SS PTFE for my Oneblade Core and I can receive 10 great shaves compared 2 great shave with the FHS-10, it averages out with a Gem for about $.02 to .03 a shave and that is as good as it gets for SE shaving IMO.
  9. [IMG] Shave over the weekend
Khalifa clearly wins amazeballs performance category along with the Saponificio Veresino Shaving Cadre Brush.
I put my Old Type Thin-cap Gillette on my Razorock Bulldog handle which surprised me with the dexterity improvement.
Also I used my first Nacet blade for an umpteenth time. I have literally forgotten how many shaves I have on this blade, perhaps its a prototype that got loose lol.

Completely BBS w/0 irritation cuts etc.
