Happy Friday Everyone. Whew. What a week. I am up and moving early this morning. At least I was able to get a relaxing shave in before the trip to visit Asha in Tampa, FL. The MrEE did a wonderful job loading and lathering MWF for Fat Friday. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. I hope everyone has a great Friday

I am not sure why they call this an Aromatic Fougère. Michael for Men, to my nose, is a leather/tobacco fragrance, with some fruit accords added for good measure. Compared to Kouros or Paco Rabanne, Michael lacks that soapy "oakmoss". If you want a strong leathery fragrance, this isn't it.
Here are the three fragrance notes for easy comparison:

Super image and combination Clint! Evan's knurling on that handle is a perfect companion to the AS-D2. Safe travels, enjoy the time with Asha.

Thanks for the thoughts and comparisons Joseph!

    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 926
    Video in my Journal Thread

I had a GREAT shave with the Nealon by Menlo today. Just a few weepers that sealed after applying the A&E Splash but ZERO irritation. I think ALI nailed it in saying the shave is VERY similar to the ST Stirling Head. This is an aggressive razor that has a nice smoothness too. While it has these characteristics it isn't a fit for me as I shave daily and have no need for one in this category. Those looking for a razor to take down more than a days growth efficiently while maintaining smoothness will be wanting to look at this one. Video with details.

    Good morning, gentlemen!

A quick check-in from the hills of Kentucky to report on two major milestones. We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary on Sunday (yes, my Bride deserves a gold medal), and yesterday we enjoyed our first visit as a couple to a restaurant since last year. The weather was perfect, and one of the local car clubs decided to join us with their street rods. I almost popped the hood on my Toyota, but I didn't want to shame the 'Stang and 'Vette owners. I'm sure we could have won First Prize in the Grandpa car category. :)

Can you spot the irony in the photo? The plate wasn't large enough to hold all the French Fries, and yet we felt it necessary to order a side of Onion Rings to supplement the meal. :happy068:

It was, of course, a classic case of Man vs. Food. Man won. :eatdrink020:
