    MWF~~dubl duck #4~~Feather AS-D2/Personna 74~~Vintage Old Spice Lime AS
Woke up not really needing a shave, because I must have cut the stubble off below the skin-line yesterday.
However, that's not like me to skip a shave, especially when I have time to do so.
Took a play out of our friend @clint64 's playbook and reached for the MWF and my Feather AS-D2.
Slick as snot was the lather from England, masterfully manufactured by me with the
able assistance of my Teutonic shave brush.
The Feather was loaded with the same Personna 74 blade that has seen use as of late
and the combination turned out to be just what the doctor ordered.
Buffing was not an issue and the baby is comfortably back in its bassinet.
The weather in the heartland seems to have forgotten about spring, as we will approach 85˚ today.
That calls for a rare aftershave in Primo's den:

Believe it or not, I used to own a plethora of vintage Old Spice aftershaves, but
they have all found better homes with the exception of the "King of OS flankers".
Old Spice Lime is sublime. (see what I did there?)

    FAT FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!

Above the Tie R1 aluminum base plate on Atlas handle.
    Feather blade.
MrEE LE #011 brush with Dscosmetics synthetic knot.
    Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap
American Tobacco by Andy Hilfiger cologne

Awesome lather courtesy of #011 this morning. The Fat has never let me down. It is just good dependable soap.

There has been a little rumbling in the den and the ATTs were getting restless. Three smooth passes with no blood loss. The Feather did an excellent job in the ATT this morning. Feathers normally give me fits but I seem to be getting great shaves out of them lately. My technique may be improving as I slow down and really focus on the angle. Who says you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. There is always something to learn in this hobby. I may be slow but I'm efficient. :D

It has really disappointed me that ATT has discontinued their Classic line. When their remaining stock of the Classic line is gone that is the end if it. They are only offering the Windsor and Windsor Pro (China) lines now.

There was just a hint of alum this morning and I finished the shave off in the usual fashion.

Hope everyone has a great day and a great weekend planned as well.

    Great shave.

I’m glad I purchased my Windsor earlier this year. Hands down the BEST DE razor I own!

May 21 - lazy Friday morning shave. Day 2 with the Furbo Blu and it was even better than yesterday. My experience is that soaps need to ‘wake up’ with a little hydration and then it always works better. 15 seconds of brush loading then about 45 seconds of face lathering brought on a slick and dense covering that allowed the Windsor and Astra to get it done in 2 passes.

This morning was the "back 9" of the Gillette Foamy Menthol cream and Aqua Velva Ice Blue A.S. I thought about trying a "less cool" A.S., but pulled it back last night in order to continue with AV. I corrected an error from yesterday by getting a section I missed-jawline between chin and right ear. Other than that, real nice for sophisticated goo. Most Excellent.

We're 2/3 through the month of May, and its exciting to see "ignoring stupid polls" making a serious challenge to the lead held by "eating too many cookies". Earlier in the month, I thought "cookies" was going to run away with it....little do I know. It'll be a fun remainder of MAYhem to watch what happens.
